The scheduled speech by Milo Yiannopoulos at MLK Student Union at UC Berkeley yesterday, was called off after a student protest. Milo is an editor for Breitbart which is an anti-Semitic, racist, white supremacist Web site.

CNN reported that violence erupted at UC Berkeley on Wednesday night hours before Milo Yiannopoulos was scheduled to speak.

More than 1,500 protesters had gathered at Sproul Plaza, chanting and holding signs that read: “No safe space for racists” and “This is war.” CNN reported of violence at the protest.

Milo has voiced disdain for human rights. He has supported vicious nationalism, xenophobia and misogyny.

His invitation was a direct violation of UC Berkeley Statement of Free Speech, Code of Conduct 102.09: Sexual, Racial and other forms of Harassment.

    This is a victory of democratic protests ! Racists, religious bigots, misoggynysts and male chauvinists propaganda must be curbed. The students have achieved success by stopping the spread of malice through his speech . The protests against these miscreants is necessary
