A nationalist or a rationalist
An activist, pacifist or a neutralist
A rightist, leftist or a centrist
A capitalist, communist, socialist or a Marxist
I may be some, all or none of the above
But I am someone you just cannot curb
I am a voice that refuses to die
You may bleed my heart but it refuses to cry
I am the eyes that refuse to blink
You may take the light out of them but my mind refuses to stop to think
I am the hands that refuse not to write
You may snatch my pen but my spirit refuses to die
I am the conscience that refuses to be killed
You may hold it to ransom but it refuses to flinch
I am the soul that refuses to sell itself in pieces and tranches
You may hurt may, cut me and bruise me; but like a Phoenix, I shall always rise from the ashes
