A cow moved on the grass
Her foot tripped on a dead body
She looked at the body
An ant moved on his lips
A woman cried running
Three children followed
The villagers joined in a crowd
The sky wept on their bodies
The sun stopped shining
The moon did not appear
The stars merged into darkness
The God looked down and asked:
Who is this new Goddess?’
It is a cow, sir,’ said his secretary
How good is a beef dish?’
Very tasty, sir…
And very nutritious too…
A beef curry a day,
Keeps the doctor away’.
The God imagined the flavour
`Get me one for my lunch’.
An inverted rainbow appeared
On the secretary’s lips.
