Mothers Moving Menacingly….

gun protest

It doesn’t do much good to point out that mothers are going to keep crying their souls out — losing their lovely children — unless those mothers themselves are willing to die to keep a horror of horrors like the U,.S. Military from twisting the minds of their youngsters… and propagandizing parents to the point of their, then, willingly handing over offspring for the age-old slaughter.

The offshoot to NOT preventing that abomination is witnessing the “Deja Vu” sung about by “Fortunate Son” Fogerty in 2004. Check out the lyrics, and pay special attention to “She’s lost her precious child”… and the line that immediately follows it. And — PLEASE — don’t forget that the gunning down of kids in schools is directly related to the violence we inflict abroad. Mothers will now have to put their own lives on the line to begin dealing with the proliferating violence in our society.

That is done by picking up the psychological gun, the one which moves mothers to aim at undermining the sociopathy singled out by David Swanson today.

Okay, listen to the Deja Vu recording again… while reading the lyrics below. Then I’ll continue.

Did you hear ’em talkin’ ’bout it on the radio
Did you try to read the writing on the wall
Did that voice inside you say I’ve heard it all before
It’s like deja vu all over again

Day by day I hear the voices rising
Started with a whisper like it did before
Day by day we count the dead and dying
Ship those bodies home while the networks all keep score
Did you hear ’em talkin’ ’bout it on the radio
Could you’re eyes belive the writing on the wall
Did that voice inside you say I’ve heard it all before
It’s like deja vu all over again

One by one I see the old ghosts rising
Stumblin’ ‘cross Big Muddy
Where the light gets dim
Day after day another Mamma’s crying
She’s lost her precious child
To a war that has no end

Did you hear ’em talkin’ ’bout it on the radio
Did you stop to read the writing at the wall
Did that voice inside you say
I’ve seen this all before
It’s like deja vu all over again
It’s like deja vu all over again

I’m not talking about women withholding sex from warriors as was done in Aristophanes’ Lysistrata… to put an end to wars. Rather, I’m talking about an ongoing war against psychopaths who are taking us all on a path over the precipice. A new necessary action in solidarity headed by mothers who understand that they have to set new priorities in their lives. With as much passion as what moved them to drive kids to soccer games, shop online and/or engage in legitimate or illicit sex. Meaning, top priority embraced with fervor maintained on an ongoing basis.

But to do that, they are going to have to put the men in their lives into perspective*, and — simultaneously — remember how it was before they were born into our society of obligatory violence. There will be no room for entertainment like Game of Thrones or Black Panther. Zero tolerance for ALL the expressions of violent outlook and action that rule the roost right now.

*Everyone, truth be told, including politicians with their generic promises.

It will be deja vu all over again and again and again unless mothers move menacingly with unconditional love for life’s longing for itself.
