“Peace is not something you wish for; it’s you make, something you do, something you are, and something you give away.”
The simple plan of anarchy over Ayodhaya is just not what India deserves after the culmination of intellectuals. From the time of Independence to the present Hindutva throbbing nation, both the Muslims and Hindus should learn something which is the most important lesson: Death is the end of a problem which never gets to its solution. Lakhs of people, after they hear the very word “Riot” hide deep inside their own bunker well prepared beneath their fear. The world of politics and extremism believes in using the fear to build a road towards the cynical problem of fascism.
The war on Babri Masjid and Ram Mandir have already taken millions of lives over the past 50 years but sadly, Hindutva brigade still believe in building a Ram Mandir to start another riot which can be the biggest of all the riots over this communal warfare. Just like Joker of the Dark Knight introduced the fire of chaos as the only solution to freeze and behead a society, religion triggers the epicentre of that chaos to ruin meaning of surviving. He said, that in the chaos the true face would come out beneath the masks they wear. In this chaos of communal politics, the true face of society is the breeding discrimination inside everyone. The only thing that’s necessary is the ignition of fire over religious sentiment. For Muslims, the destruction of Babri Masjid once led to a bloodbath and the hatred still breeds inside many Muslims. Similarly, for Hindus, who feed on the plate of discrimination, both inside and outside, the mythical “so – called Lord” and his temple destroys the rationality to ignite hatred against people of another religion.
Hindus yell over the history of Babri Masjid, but for how long will we keep our head immersed in the shit of mythology and Mughals? The country which needs to think of denomination of economy, lack of jobs, communal hatred, rising pollution, curbing dissent and voice, lack of proper literature, lack of rationality, rising danger over women, rank in the hunger index, still believes in hanging over the bridge of mythology. What would happen if Ayodhaya gets no Ram Mandir? How would it distort our country’s development? The saffron brigade thinks that a mythical God is the heritage of India by destroying the age old culture of peace and harmony. They seek to erase the very word secularism from our Constitution. What India has to learn is to protest against the things it truly suffers from rather than making an issue over mythology and history. What would Lord Ram teach us by his own Mandir if thousands of Muslims die in its construction? The act of use of patriarchal power of the “so called Lord” disposed a question into our mind that how can somebody who orders his wife to show her purity by standing in fire be the face of our heritage? And if he’s the nation’s face, then how can femininity survive in the nation because if it does then the women of India have got two options: either to stand in the fire of patriarchy or to be a Dasi.
The strong dedication of humanity to unite people from different religion, die suddenly because of a Masjid which is a part of history. The country of Lalon Fakir, who composed tunes from Krishna to Allah, today bleeds over a Masjid and a mythical God. No one cares as the farmers marched to the capital of this nation for their right but everyone cared when Allahabad was unnecessarily named as Prayagraj. The important lesson which the farmers taught is “How to develop a nation by declaring a protest against the government and its agendas for the thriving hunger rather than by protesting on something which is mythical”. Illuminate me with a single development by changing the name of the cities, because if it would have benefited then the change would have resulted the nation’s development in the world rank! The history of war in every nation resulted in some changes. But presently, the nation is not at war rather the saffron brigade should understand that the nation needs support of peace to understand what’s wrong in its foundation. Ram and Allah are just characters of the mythology of a nation and in a country which is drowning in every aspect, right from economy to women safety, mythology would just be a sequel of a prequel of a more drastic age of patriarchy and zero growth.
No matter how much we deny, until and unless, we truly understand the source of hatred comes from religion, the country won’t be able to solve the thriving malfunctions. Rather it would just keep on initiating a new civil war with time. It can be Hindu – Muslim or it can be Extremist vs. The Voice. Remember what Lalon Fakir said:”
(মানুষ ছাড়া ক্ষ্যাপা রে তুই মূল হারাবি; মানুষ ভজলে সোনার মানুষ হবি।)
(Without humans you would fail to exist; You would give birth to a true human if you preach humanity)
Country doesn’t need a new Shivaji or a new Chengis. It needs a new Lalon Fakir to develop humanity and the things associated with its development. For me, it’s the time to ignore a “so called mythical human Lord” and monuments of discrimination. What we need is a protest against everything which discriminates and kills the nation’s peace.
