One poster they placed read “Protest against the attacks on Kashmiri students by Sangh Parivar workers”.

What is the diffrence between the BJP and the CPM? As far as Kashmir problem and other nationality issues in India there is not an iota of difference. In fact both want to be more ‘patriotic’ than the other. There is our Vijay Prasad of the CPM ( who once manipulated Noam Comsky and Tariq Ali into sigining a statmenet criticising those who supported the people’s struggle in Nandigram and Singur during the most infamous Buddhadev Battacharya’s reign) who waxes eloquent about the liberation of Palestine and the resistance of the Venezuela to US Imperialism. Will he endorse the arrest of the students who spoke for not only Kashmir but also for Palestine? And does the CPM has any moral right to speak against the colonial laws such as 124 (A) when they are invoked in states other than Kerala?
