The leadership of the Marxist-Leninist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) launched an impressive rally in besieged Gaza resiliently protesting the Criminal “Caesar Law”.
The Caesar Law refers to the Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act (HR/31), which commands a hermetic siege on Syria disguising to protect the Syrian people and defending human rights in the war-striven country.
Following the deadly earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, many voices around the world, including in Palestine, have been unanimously demanding the lifting of US-led Western sanctions.
Scores of PFLP activists with wrath written on their faces at a boiling point, flashed a large banner that read “All the Solidarity with Arab Syria … No to the Siege … Down with the Criminal American Caesar Law”.
A few days ago The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine welcomed the decision of the Catalan city of Barcelona for temporarily suspending its relations with Israel, due to its crimes in the occupied territories of Palestine.
This position illustrates the popular will to condemn violent practices by the Israeli forces against their people.
In a letter addressed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Barcelona’s mayor Ada Colau declared the temporary suspension of its institutional relations with Israel “until the authorities put an end to the systematic violation of human rights against the Palestinians.”
The move includes cutting the twinning of the Catalan city with Tel Aviv until further notice. “Barcelona has become the first city council to suspend ties with apartheid Tel Aviv in solidarity with the Palestinian people.”
