While hearing the petition of Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind, the Supreme Court of India on Monday, September 2, has said in clear words that “if a person is accused, then how can action be taken to demolish the property?” The bench of Justice Vishwanath and Justice B.R. Gavai said that “even if a person is guilty, such action cannot be taken!” Jamiat has alleged that “action is being taken against Muslims in BJP-ruled states!” I agree with the allegation of Jamiat!
I have been seeing that ever since Adityanath took over as Chief Minister in Uttar Pradesh and Shivraj Singh Chauhan in Madhya Pradesh, there seems to be some competition going on between the two as to who is the most radical Hindutvawadi? During Adityanath’s tenure as Chief Minister, 186 encounters were carried out! In which most of the dead are from the Muslim community! Similarly, after seeing all the incidents of demolition of property with bulldozers, it has been found that barring one or two exceptions, they are also related to SP! So all the properties belong to the people of the Muslim community! This is the model that Israel started with the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, West Bank and Jerusalem city in the beginning of this century during the time of Ariel Sharon! It seems that BJP has started demolishing properties by running bulldozers in the areas under its rule in India by imitating Israel!
Because even though the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was founded after being influenced by Hitler’s Storm Stumpers and Benito Mussolini’s Balala children’s organizations! But currently the role model of the Sangh and BJP is Israel! Because for the last 76 years (16 May 1948), by creating a country named Israel on the land of Palestine against the wishes of the Palestinians, Israel has made the life of Palestinians hell by various wars and daily attacks in 76 years! And the intention of the Sangh and its political unit BJP is also the same about the Muslims living in India! An example of this is the 2002 Gujarat riots and the bulldozer action being taken in BJP-ruled states! On September 2, the Supreme Court slapped the BJP and the Sangh hard in its hearing! I have been feeling this repeatedly ever since these people started targeting the properties of people from minority communities!
The most surprising thing is that Prime Minister Narendra Modi or various Chief Ministers of BJP, while taking oath on our Constitution at the time of assuming office, say that “I will discharge this office without any discrimination from today onwards”, but which oath did Narendra Modi take during the Gujarat riots? And Adityanath and BJP Chief Ministers of various states, including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Assam and Uttarakhand, are also included! It seems that the only way to get leadership in BJP is by giving provocative statements and taking action against minority communities with a feeling of revenge!
Similarly, in April 2002, Israel also holds the world record of running a bulldozer continuously for 75 hours on the Jenin camp in West Bank. Has India also decided to turn the Jenin camp in Palestine into ruins, as Israel did twenty years ago?
After the current riots, the Madhya Pradesh government started this process. I wish this formula had been used after the Gujarat riots twenty years ago!
Under this pretext, the Israeli government launched the infamous Jenin operation against the Palestinian people in 2002. And the month was also the same, from April 1st to April 18th, when the Jenin camp in the West Bank was destroyed, and the historic Gujarat riots were also twenty years and the same month.
When instead of learning a lesson from the barbarism that happened in history, it is repeated! So whatever Aurangzeb, Genghis Khan, Ghori or Babar and all the fascists of the twentieth century did, I do not want to get into the debates about the right and wrong of history!
Because if in history any tyrant has tortured any community then! It means that today after so many years the same cruelty should be done to his community! Whether the one who says this is Savarkar-Golwalkar or any of their followers in the present time! This feeling of revenge is a sign of a distorted mentality! The act done by the fascist Hitler is a sign of this distortion in the recent century!
If that was wrong in the history of mankind! Then the acts done in the name of Hinduputra on the mosques of Jenin, Bhagalpur, Gujarat, Muzaffarnagar and recently Khargone, Delhi Khambhat, Himmatnagar, Muzaffarpur, Allahabad are also a blot on the name of humanity! And it seems that the current central government has learnt the bulldozer model from Israel! Because a lot is happening in the security of India under the guidance of Israeli government and mainly Mossad!
There is no surprise in the fact that America wants to solve the Palestine problem on the lines of Iraq! That is, with the change of power, there is a lot of similarity between the Iraq and Palestine policies of America and Israel after 9/11!
The way America resorted to continuous bombing and heavy sanctions in Iraq and today the whole of Iraq has turned into ruins! More than 15 lakh people have died, out of which 5 lakh children aged 15 years have been forced to die due to contaminated water and lack of medicines and food!
Similarly, Israel destroyed the economic life of Palestine and forced people to starve to death. In both the situations, there was a huge loss of life and property. On 2 February 2002, the New York Times published a statement from Jerusalem signed by more than one hundred Israeli reserve soldiers, stating that they would no longer serve in the West Bank and Gaza Strip because Israel’s policies included “dominating, expelling, starving, and humiliating entire communities.” Like the US, Israel stopped differentiating between civilian and military targets. The argument was that our actions were either a preemptive measure against an impending threat or a response to their terror. The conclusion was that the collective punishment of the entire Iraqi and Palestinian population continued without concern for punishment.
Ever since Israel has occupied the Palestinian territories, the Jenin incident has become a major example of Israeli terror. Like the US, Israel too believes that it is appropriate to respond to the enemy with heavy attacks, even if the people being attacked are unarmed.
In the Israeli attack, Israeli forces attacked the Jenin refugee camp, spread over one square kilometer, with dozens of tanks, armored vehicles and missiles fired by American Apache helicopters for a week, in which 15,000 children lived, and a few young men! Who had neither tanks nor missiles! Can this be called an action taken due to any terrorist threat? Or were these unarmed people a threat to Israel’s existence?
Only someone who has no regard for international laws, no fear of punishment, no fear of being held accountable to anyone can use military force on such a large scale! And who else other than America can have a hand in making Israel so fearless?
In an era when the US has been preaching that “the sovereignty of a country is maintained as long as it does not commit serious human rights violations”, Israel has been an exception. It has successfully evaded the demand for investigation into the Jenin operation.
Since no investigation action was taken by the United Nations, it would be extremely difficult to know the real situation, but we may get a chance to reach some conclusion based on some personal information.
Especially like the story of Moshonisam, who was being addressed on the Israeli military radio as the Kurdish Bear! Kurdi meant that he was a person of the Kurdish sect, and the bear meant that he had a 60-ton D-9 bulldozer! With which he demolished houses on a large scale!
He was given only a few hours of training to drive a bulldozer! An Israeli newspaper published a description of his extraordinary feats in these words: “He worked continuously for 75 hours sitting on that huge bulldozer! He demolished every house that came in his way! There was no soldier in Jenin who did not know his name! Kurdi Bhalu was a very dedicated, brave and destructive bulldozer driver!” After all, how can a man work for such a long time without getting tired? He himself answered this in these words:
“Do you know how I worked for 75 hours continuously? I did not get off the bulldozer, nor did I feel tired, because I kept drinking whiskey continuously! For three days I did only destruction, only destruction! I razed the whole area to the ground! Whichever house a bullet was fired from, it became my target! Yes, my only regret is that I could not destroy the entire camp! “
In India, during the recent Ramnavami and Hanuman Jayanti riots, the governments of Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh have resorted to bulldozer demolition of properties, a new invention against the minority communities.
In the end, while hearing the petition of Jamiat, the Supreme Court on Monday, 2nd September, said that even if any accused or criminals may have committed some illegal act, the method of punishing other members of his family for the same is illegal.
Seeing such activities within the police-administration of our country reminded me of the bulldozers that were run on the Palestinian Jenin camp for 75 hours twenty years ago! And also the Gujarat riots that happened at the same time, which gave the current ruling party an opportunity to achieve so-called political success in the country and some areas of the country today! But what about the unity and integrity of the country?
These days the ruling party has tried to patent patriotism in its name! But what is happening in some parts of India today is a matter of great concern in the 77 years of independence of the country! If this situation continues, then India is going through such a dangerous phase as never before in the history of India after independence! We have opposed the declaration of the declared emergency implemented on 25 June 1975! And even today we are trying to write this post in protest against the undeclared emergency! That is why every year on 25 June, the current ruling party will have to introspect on important questions like freedom of expression, democracy regarding the emergency! Otherwise it will be another ritual like the mourning of a widow!
