Happy to share this message received from astronaut Ms Sunita Williams, who has become a legend, in response to my note of congratulations on her recent feat. I am so happy to hear of her commitment to protect the tormented planet of ours. When the environmental movement is failing in its mission by all observed indicators, I am inclined to invest hope in new leaders like astronaut Sunita to protect the earth system with its life supporting capacity. The perspective she gained by the view of the earth from space makes a huge difference.
