Why do suspect Easterners rule?
Twice they’ve missed sorting wit from fool.Electorally-challenged, the Golden State
Would have shielded the nation’s fate,
Deflecting today's tragic train wreck
By never electing that pompous redneck.There’s time still to mount a campaign,
Find a local Bush puppet to arraign;
There's Dick Pombo, that right winger,
Who more deserves a bullseye zinger?Consider upstart Jerry McNerney,
Who knows all about alternative energy.
If polls rightly say Pombo gets the boot,
Thank God, one less zealot to uproot.Enduring Bush for two more years
Need not plunge California into tears;
Remove Pombo and vote against Bush,
Give the GOP the deserved bums’ rush.
