Mayawati is still following the policy of supporting the BJP which is unfortunate – AIPF

Commenting on the statement made by Mayawati in a press statement issued today, All India People’s Front National President S.R. Darapuri said that in today’s era when the force of Racist Hindutva BJP still poses a big threat to democracy in the country, saying that both the ruling party and the opposition are equal is a result of Mayawati’s ongoing policy of supporting the BJP. He said that it should be noted that the opposition has lost 16 seats to the BJP in Uttar Pradesh alone, where BSP candidates contested. The big threat to the Constitution posed by the Bharatiya Janata Party is real. It is on record that at the ideological level, the RSS and the BJP have never accepted the Indian Constitution, whose basic elements are justice, equality, liberty and fraternity. Taking a critical stance towards the opposition and equating the opposition with the ruling party shows that the BSP is still turning a blind eye to the political crisis of today and the direction of its politics is to benefit the BJP.

When Dr. Ambedkar fought, the RSS was outside the mainstream politics. In today’s times, the biggest task of the followers of Dr. Ambedkar is to not let the dream of making India racist, which has been created by the RSS, succeed.

It is true that during the time of Mulayam Singh’s government, the policy of reservation in promotion was abolished. But in this regard, the Mayawati government which ran from 2007 to 2012 is also not free from faults. Despite the order of the Supreme Court, Mayawati did not conduct a survey of backwardness and representation and implemented the policy of reservation in promotion, which was later struck down by the High Court and the Supreme Court.

All India Peoples Front which works with all its might for the Dalits, exploited and working class has appealed to all Ambedkarites that although they should keep a critical attitude towards the opportunistic policy of the opposition and maintain their independence, but in today’s times all Ambedkarite forces will have to unite against the BJP and refrain from manipulative politics. If this does not happen, then just like the Dalit movement in Maharashtra got divided into fragments, similarly the Dalit society in Uttar Pradesh will also be divided into pieces.

Dalits and exploited society also has to keep in mind that no successor can be declared in the tradition of Dr. Ambedkar’s thoughts. This anti-democratic tradition was started by Kashiram by making Mayawati his successor. On the same path, Mayawati has made her nephew Akash Anand her successor.

S.R. Darapuri,

National President,

All India Peoples Front.
