It’s one of those incidents when you think a higher being is working on-hand but risky and unexplainable!
It happened so suddenly and acted upon quickly between the relentless Israeli bombs falling on the camp characterized by endless destruction and deadly shrapnel that travels and kills.
The Emergency Dept of the Al Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp received word of more deaths and injuries expected.
It sent one of its ambulances on standby. The Israeli military just bombed nearby homes resulting in the killing of a woman who was in her 9-month and probably expecting. It was a Saturday, the early hours of the morning and still pitch black with the thudding sound of bombs and gunfire.
After she was rushed into the hospital the obstetric surgeons began a gruelling task of opening up the womb of the dead woman and removing the fetus. They were operating frantically with little equipment.
It was touch and go, the doctors were racing against time. After literally minutes, the fetus was out and miraculously alive! With a light touch in its back, it started its first soft screams.
Everyone was breathing again!
Soon after the baby was transferred to the nursery department of Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Dier Al Balah that is slightly to the east of Nuseirat.
The doctors were very happy. They said what had just happened was indeed a miracle, bringing a baby out of its martyred mother’s womb as told to journalist Hind Khodary.
This is not the first story of such delivery in this murderous war against civilians who have already lost around 150,000 in between dead and injured.

Bombs
The Government Media Office in Gaza reported, Sunday, the Israeli occupation bombarded the Nuseirat Refugee Camp 63 times in the last 7 days.
In these bombings it killed 91 Palestinians and injured 251 people. These are mostly women and children but in Gaza nobody is counting anymore!
The Gaza Ministry of Health says they only count the people who are brought into its ramshackled hospitals. It points out many people stay under the rubble listed as missing persons.
Among those slain this time around is Mutasem Ghorab. He becomes journalist number 162 to be killed by the Israeli occupation forces in Nuseirat with his family also dead.
The Al-Nuseirat refugee camp lies in the central Gaza Strip along with a number of other refugee camps like Breij, Shati and Al Maghazi which are now being targeted with vengeance by the Israeli army.
