Controlling the narrative to hide Western Government complicity in the Israeli crime of genocide.
Heather Stroud .
When those in power regard truth as inconvenient and too dangerous to be allowed free expression within the public domain, telling lies and twisting the narrative becomes commonplace. Truth is obscured behind a multi layered barricade of lies and ‘out of context’ half truths. In failing to report honestly and promoting false information the mainstream are as guilty as the puppet politicians and those who consider it their right to wield power over the rest of us. The lies, reported repeatedly and widely, are forced into existence. They take root into the minds of somnolent, compliant individuals. Those individuals, then believing themselves to be on the side of righteousness, are psychologically conditioned to turn against those who have the audacity to believe that exposing the lies and telling the truth, actually matters.
‘In times of deceit telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act’ – ( George Orwell).
This has never been more true than when the Israeli leadership and it’s clique of Western supporters present their crime of genocide as self defence. In this world of lies and blatant propaganda Israel is the victim, and those who try to expose the falseness of this reality are regarded as supporters of terrorism. It’s hard to comprehend how, in what we thought to be a democratic and liberal society, this level of deceit could have become so pervasive. Independent Journalists, not controlled by an editorial team with hidden billionaire zionist bosses in the shadows, have been arrested. Terrorist laws have become re-purposed – so as not to arrest actual terrorists, but as a blunt/blockheaded instrument to arrest those who try to tell the truth and correct the false narrative. For Israel’s crimes to be viewed as legitimate, with episodes of sadistic behaviour regularly posted on social media, humanity is being conditioned to accept a level of depravity unimaginable.
The International Court Justice , ‘ICJ’, having considered multiple layers of evidence, came to the verdict of ‘plausible genocide’. They considered the factual evidence of deeds plus the evidence of intent. The evidence on both counts was compelling. The secondary crime that is being pursued by various human rights organisations against named individual, Western political figures, is that of complicity to genocide. Although a directive was made by the International Court for the genocide to cease the Israelis have not only not ceased bombing Gaza, they have intensified their genocide – introducing even more inhuman ways to slaughter men, women and children. With intent to create a wider war arena the Israelis have recklessly extended their murder of civilians and political resistance leaders to other countries with attacks against Lebanon, Syria and Iran. During all this time the British Government has continued to give both moral and, (although recently moderated – military support). In such circumstances, as outlined in International Law, British officials are complicit in supporting the ongoing genocide. In such a dire situation, where accountability threatens to reach political decision makers on a personal level, one can see a clear motive for government to hold fast to Isreal’s victim hood and keep a tight rein on the narrative and public discourse.
The question here then becomes debatable as to; ‘Who are the terrorists?’.
‘Is it those deemed by the State to be terrorist for speaking ‘truth to power’, or is it those who in international law have gone beyond what is just and moral by carrying out a level of atrocities not witnessed within most of our lifetimes?’
I believe that for right minded individuals the answer is clear. The terrorists are those committing terror and genocide on a largely unarmed civilian population – the majority of victims being women, children and babies. In a state of brain washed superior mental derangement, Israeli soldiers, having widely posted these atrocities on social media, mock their victims with callous disregard for human life. The victims are considered sub-human, or if one interprets Old Testament verses as justification for slaughter, the victims are the Amalek and therefore according to scripture murdering them is a sacred duty. In a recent escalation of cruelty Israeli soldiers set fire to their victims alive. The image of a young man attached to a medical drip burning alive comes as close to terrifying as anything a normal person could imagine. So too are images of snipers shooting children in the head. When witnesses and medical teams attempt to help the young victims they too are murdered by snipers or rocket fire. While the physical bodies of Palestinians are being destroyed en-mass, what of the souls of the Israeli soldiers. Just like the young men programmed to support a brutal regime in Nazi Germany, will those young men in Israel, faced with the crimes displayed on their hideous posts, recoil back in horror? Will they wonder how it was possible for them have committed such atrocities and laughed about it, or will they remain in denial over their lack of humanity?
In International Law a brutal occupying entity does not have the right of self defence. On the other hand, those who are occupied, not only have a right to armed resistance, but when the occupying power is carrying out a slow genocide by restricting movement, water, food and medical supplies, they not only have the legal right of self defence, they also have a moral responsibility to take action and not accept the subhuman conditions imposed upon them or their children.
Politicians and mainstream media repeatedly describe the breakout of resistance forces from their Gazan prison as an attack on Israel by Hamas. When Jewish gangs and later the Israeli State, first committed atrocities, Hamas, as a resistance movement, did not exist, neither, incidentally did Hezbollah. Both resistance movements formed as a response to Israeli aggression and occupation of land. There is rarely any historical context given to the events of 7th October and other than a few honest investigators like the ‘electronic intifada’, and an Al Jazeera documentary maker, little attempt has been made to examine the forensic evidence. That is not to say that no war crimes were committed. However the degree to which, if at all, there was an actual policy for Hamas resistance fighters to commit war crimes, isn’t totally clear. In fact given their strong Islamic beliefs it is likely there was no such direct. In the chaos that ensued after the breakout there were several different resistance factions that left Gaza including individual traumatised Palestinians. What is evidenced is that Israel issued a ‘Hannibal directive’ (to kill Israelis along with Palestinians if it prevents them being taken hostage or allows Palestinian resistance fighters to escape). It was used against Israel settlers at the peace conference as participants attempted to flee in amongst Palestinians.
While it is not disputed that resistance fighters captured Israeli hostages, Israeli politicians and media, not only don’t raise the fact that there are close to ten thousand political prisoners – (including children), held hostage in Israeli goals, they have obscured and distorted events to a degree where all the deaths are attributed to Hamas. As a prelude to justifying genocide, false allegations of rape, and the story of forty decapitated babies burnt in ovens, was widely publicised to arouse anger and hatred. These claims, later confirmed to be false, continue to be repeated over and over again -repeated, not only in Israel but in the US and Western countries as well. In any rational sense these deliberately constructed false claims should be regarded as ‘hate speech’ with intent to incite violence. However, there is nothing rational or just in this present political climate of lies, government overreach and fear.
Evidence shows that such political and media falsehoods have indeed incited violence on an unprecedented level. Israeli spokespeople have described ‘Palestinian babies as little snakes who will grow up to be terrorists’. The level of hatred toward a people, considered to be subhuman, is evidenced in so many ways.
Yet…. It is the journalists, writers and those who have the boldness to address this misinformation and report the details of atrocities, who are now defined as promoting hate speech, as racist, antisemitic and even more alarming, ‘terrorist’. The upside down logic is not only irrational, it grates harshly against what is fair and what is true. If we are not all outraged by this injustice then maybe the toxic lies have taken deep root beyond a level where truth can penetrate.
When Palestine was occupied by Zionist ideology it was done with an immediate brutal force. The event is described as the Nakba – catastrophe, when hundreds of thousands fled the massacres conducted in their villages by terrorist Zionist/Jewish forces. At the time the Stern gang and Irgun were proscribed as terrorist forces by the British government. Today, those terrorist gangs have been absorbed into the current Israeli Defence Force and have gained legitimacy. It is those who oppose these Zionist forces that are increasingly being proscribed as terrorist.
Zionism is not Judaism. Political Zionism has roots in settler colonialism and Christian and Jewish Messianic ‘end of time’ death cult thinking. Judaism, on the other hand, is, as we know, an Abrahamic religion. To conflate the two, is to use, an otherwise authentic religious belief, as a shield to hide and legitimise the activities of political Zionism’s fascist root supremacist ideology.
While it can no longer be denied that Zionist/fascist ideology has penetrated deep into the establishment in Britain and beyond, it has not come in with a brutal force. However, this subtle occupation is no less dangerous. It has always been remarkable how Palestinians have never caved into the injustice inflicted upon them. They have remained psychologically and spiritually resilient. We, on the other hand, have been massaged into a state of denial where we are encouraged to think that the state, while sometimes clumsy, genuinely has our interests at heart. The naïveté of this position draws us into culpability and ultimately threatens to engulf us in this war of supremacy and global dominance.

Society is changing in dangerous ways. When the homes of independent journalists are raided in the early hours of the morning, where is the outrage by the mainstream media? Where is the outrage over the genocide in Gaza? Where was the outrage when Israel used enriched uranium to devastate a large area in Beirut to take out Hassan Nasrallah, the moderate leader of Hezbollah? Our government and mainstream media are, at best, luke warm, in their reporting on these events. We will pay a terrible price if we do not alert ourselves to the dangers of this global zionist/fascist movement and demand that our government leaders extricate themselves from this all pervasive ideology and represent us. Given the current aims of predatory global dominance the wars that we see today will only increase and become ever closer to home. Right now the Palestinians are on the front line. Their battle for freedom is our battle tomorrow.
