The National Alliance of People’s Movements (NAPM) stands in unwavering solidarity with the people of Palestine in their struggle for freedom, dignity, and self-determination. We categorically oppose the illegal occupation, apartheid policies, forced displacement, and systematic violence inflicted upon the Palestinian people. We stand against genocide, war crimes, and all forms of collective punishment targeting civilians.
Our Resolution
• We stand with the Palestinian people in their long-standing struggle for their homeland against Israeli occupation, illegal settlements, and apartheid policies that seek to erase their history, identity, and existence.
• We condemn the indiscriminate attacks, mass killings, and systematic destruction of Palestinian lives, homes, hospitals, and essential infrastructure, which amount to war crimes.
• We denounce the siege of Gaza, the blockade of essential supplies, and the deliberate targeting of civilians, journalists, healthcare workers, and humanitarian aid efforts.
• We call for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, the lifting of the siege, and unrestricted humanitarian aid access to the people of Gaza.
• We demand an end to forced displacements, land grabs, and the continued expansion of illegal settlements in the West Ban8iik and East Jerusalem.
• We affirm the Palestinian people’s right to resist occupation, as recognized by international law, and support their aspirations for an independent Palestinian sovereign state with East Jerusalem as its capital, alongside Israel in line with a Two-State Solution as per UNSC Resolution 242, 1967.
• We reject the criminalization of Palestinian voices and the repression of global solidarity movements advocating for Palestinian rights.
International Complicity and the Demand for Accountability.
• We condemn the complicity of powerful nations, including the United States and other Western powers in enabling Israeli apartheid and genocide through military, financial, and political support.
• We call for the immediate prosecution of Israeli political and military leaders at the International Criminal Court (ICC) and International Court of Justice (ICJ) for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
• We salute nations like South Africa and others who have taken the courageous step of holding Israel accountable through legal mechanisms.
• We condemn the Israeli surveillance and cyber warfare industry, including the use of spyware like Pegasus, which has not only targeted Palestinians but has also been used against journalists, activists, and political leaders worldwide.
India’s Role and the Need for an Ethical Foreign Policy
• We strongly condemn the Indian government’s military and economic ties with Israel. We condemn the fact that the current Modi regime & certain private corporations are supplying weapons to Israel & are thus complicit in the genocide.
• We reject the Modi government’s policy of sending Indian workers into occupied Palestine (West Bank) to replace evicted Palestinian labourers, which directly contributes to ethnic cleansing.
• We oppose the increasing military, economic, and ideological cooperation between Zionist Israel and Hindutva forces, which has led to rising Islamophobia, communal violence, and policies of repression within India itself.
• We call upon the Indian government to return to its historic anti-colonial foreign policy stance and unequivocally support Palestinian liberation.
Call to Action: Strengthening the Palestine Solidarity Movement in India
• We call for a nationwide boycott of Israeli products and companies complicit in war crimes, in alignment with the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
• We urge all progressive movements, trade unions, student groups, and secular political parties to strengthen and expand Palestine solidarity efforts across India.
• We commit to organizing seminars, conferences, mass public meetings, and rallies to educate and mobilize Indian civil society in support of Palestine.
• We pledge to work towards the formation of an International Public Tribunal to document Israeli war crimes and ensure that the voices of Palestinian victims reach global platforms.
• We call for the establishment of a national and international coalition to demand an end to apartheid, occupation, and genocide in Palestine.
