Gaza a “No Land” for Children as 100 Killed or Injured Daily:UN

Gaza (Quds News Network)- At least 100 children are killed or injured every day in Gaza since Israel’s genocidr resumed on March 18, according to UNICEF.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini called the situation “harrowing” and described Gaza as a land where children can no longer survive. He said 15,000 children have been killed since the genocide began.

“The ceasefire earlier this year gave children a chance to live, to be children,” Lazzarini wrote on X. “But the return of war has stolen their childhood again.”

He stressed that the killing of children is unjustifiable, anywhere and anytime. “This is a stain on our common humanity,” he said, calling for an immediate ceasefire.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s humanitarian crisis deepens. Gaza Municipality spokesperson Assem Al-Nabeeh said 75% of city equipment and infrastructure is destroyed. The municipality can no longer provide basic services. Clean water, shelter, and sanitation are almost non-existent.

Israeli airstrikes recently destroyed a desalination plant in Al-Tuffah, sparking fires and worsening water shortages. Over 90% of Gaza’s population now lacks access to clean water, with more than 700 wells destroyed.

Israel has also blocked humanitarian aid since March 2. This includes food, medicine, and relief supplies.

Human rights organizations warn of an intensifying famine.
