For most people , life is a struggle full of strife, a battle. Now, when there is a war there is always someone who wins. For me, as a practising Christian, Jesus is the victor.
“He has the keys of death and hell.” (Revelation 1:8)
“He bruised the head of the serpent” (Genesis 3:15 )
Ephesians and Collosians tell us that we too are the victors because we are seated in heavenly places with Christ far above the principalities and powers and spiritual forces.
When we enter spiritual warfare, one of the major assumptions is that warfare produces a winner. So that winner might as well be me. In fact, it will be me!
“Now, thanks be unto God, which causes us to triumph in Christ and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place” (Corinthians 2:14)
