Gaza (Quds News Network)- Several starving Palestinians went missing on Wednesday after heading to one of the distribution points operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a controversial US-Israeli organization tasked with delivering aid to Gaza amid a looming famine and more than 80 days of complete Israeli blockade.
According to the Palestinian Center for the Missing and Forcibly Disappeared on Tuesday, several civilians went missing after going earlier to one of the US-Israeli aid distribution points in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
“A number of civilians went to the location and have not returned home as of the time this statement was issued. No confirmed information is currently available regarding their fate.”
The center “holds the Israeli occupation fully responsible and calls for the immediate disclosure of the missing individuals’ whereabouts, as well as the provision of safe and fair conditions for humanitarian aid distribution.”
