Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israeli forces killed at least 27 Palestinians across Gaza since dawn Saturday, according to hospital sources in the besieged strip. Among the dead were 11 Palestinians waiting for aid near a so-called ‘distribution point’ at Gaza Valley Bridge.
The Health Ministry had already recorded, as of Thursday, 245 deaths and more than 2,152 injuries from Israeli attacks on civilians waiting for aid. These strikes targeted designated distribution points set up under the US-Israeli aid project; a plan the United Nations condemned as a political and military tool to displace Palestinians.
Three more Palestinians were killed today in an Israeli airstrike on a tent sheltering displaced people near the destroyed Al-Khaldi Mosque, northwest of Gaza City. Several others were wounded.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelled multiple areas in the Gaza Strip. Shells hit the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City and the Dahdouh area south of the city, behind the University College.
Shelling also struck the residential towers in Hamad City, north of Khan Younis. East of the Islamic University in Khan Younis, Israeli forces fired at a group of civilians. Israeli tanks opened heavy fire toward displacement tents north of Khan Younis.
Since October 2023, Israel has waged a genocide in Gaza. More than 55,000 Palestinians have been killed and about 128,000 wounded. Nearly all residents have been displaced. Much of Gaza lies in ruins, in destruction levels not seen since World War II.
