India Palestine Solidarity Forum unequivocally condemns US President Trump’s statements calling for the ‘clean out’, ‘take over’, & ‘we’ll own it’, calling for US ownership of Gaza – which is ultimately meant to lead to the ethnic cleansing of the Gazan Palestinian population.
President Trump had earlier shocked the world when he used the phrase – ‘just clean out’ Gaza, by transferring the Palestinian population to Jordan & Egypt (25.01.2025).
Then again whilst addressing a press conference with PM Netanyahu of Israel, against whom an arrest warrant has been issued for war crimes committed during the genocidal war on Gaza, Trump made the following statement –
“We’ll own it. We’re going to take over that piece, develop it and create thousands and thousands of jobs, and it will be something that the entire Middle East can be proud of,” he said, adding that a “long-term ownership position’ by the US would bring “greater stability to the Middle East.” Trump further referred to Gaza as a ‘demolition site’, but forgot to mention that it was Netanyahu, who sat there smirking away, was responsible for the same. He referred to Gaza as a ‘symbol of death and destruction’, whilst the overwhelming majority of the nations of the world see Gaza as a symbol of courage and of resistance to Zionist imperialism, settler-colonialism and apartheid. Trump also ended support for the United Nations Human Rights Council, critical of Israel war crimes, & the UN Relief & Works Agency, crucial to providing crucial relief to the beleaguered Palestinian population. (04.02.2025)
By calling for the population transfer of the Gazan population to Egypt & Jordan, Trump is guilty of ‘Genocidal Intent’ as per the 1948 Geneva Convention and must be prosecuted in the ICJ for the same. Trump has also lifted the arms embargo on supplying 2000 Lbs bombs to Israel and has cleared $1 Billion in military assistance to enhance Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza and the West Bank. Thus, Trump must be held complicit, as must Biden, Harris & Blinken, in the ongoing genocide as Israel continues its murderous spree in Gaza, the West Bank and in Lebanon & Syria as well.
Trump’s shameful attempt at treating Gaza as just another Real Estate Development matter, has invited international condemnation. Firstly, the Palestinian people and the resistance factions have all condemned Trump for his devious demented plan. After having faced the worst ever genocidal war in human history, where the Israeli’s targeted the civilian population for mass killing, where children and women constitute more than 70% of those dead, where the entire social & civilian infrastructure lay in ruins – if that couldn’t force the Gazan population to leave, then Trump’s threats certainly won’t.
When Trump refers to US ownership of Gaza, is Trump planning a US invasion of this land? Only time will tell. Ominously….
Trump, who asked for votes as a president opposed to wars, a deal maker, is witnessing his presidency collapse in just a matter of 15 days since he took office. Claims that he would end the Russia-Ukraine War within 24 hours have come to naught. The Gaza ceasefire than he claims to take credit for is fragile at best and will not carry on beyond the first phase, which Trump too has attested to. Worse, Trump has now spoken about his support for the ethnic cleansing of the Gazan population, which has angered nations across the world. The Trump plans for the so-called ‘Abraham Accords’, a plan pushed by his son-in-law Jared Kushner, adhered to by the Biden-Harris regime, is also essentially about creating a political-economic-security nexus with the vassal Arab regimes in the region, with an agenda to marginalise and isolate the Palestinian freedom movement. Having neutralised Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, UAE, Sudan by getting them to sign the so-called ‘peace accords’ with Israel, with the Saudis under pressure to sign on as well, the accords are also meant to target the ‘Axis of Resistance’, namely Palestine, the Lebanese Hezbollah, Iraq, Iran & the Ansarullah-led government of Yemen. The so-called ‘Normalisation Process’ is only a further deepening of the Zionist Imperialist agenda. The 7th of October Gaza Ghetto Uprising, the Prison-Break of the inmates of the Gaza Concentration Camp ensured a massive rupture in the ongoing process, as after the Gaza Holocaust, telecast live on our mobiles, its become publicly difficult for the vassal Arab regimes to stand with this accord.
The power of the Israeli Jewish Zionist Lobby and the power that it wields over the White House, over the US, is also there for all the world to see. The fact that Trump chose to invite Netanyahu as the first international leader to the White House, a highly unpopular leader and with an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant to his name, has his own supporters wondering whether Trump’s agenda is ‘America First’ or ‘Israel First’, whether Trump’s agenda is to ‘Make America Great Again’, or ‘Make Israel Great Again’ – MAGA or MIGA, is the question that they are rightfully asking.
The Trump Cabinet, which is overwhelmingly dominated by Israeli Firsters, needs to realise that the world has changed. That the balance of power is fast moving away from the US & the West, and thus Trump’s threats of wars, tariffs, and sanctions will not work anymore. The emergence of BRICS+ as an alternate to the G7 nations has also turned the tide of global affairs.
Despite the overwhelming superiority in the quality of weapons, despite the Holocaust of the Palestinian people, Israel stood defeated when it had to agree to a ceasefire. Unable to defeat the Hamas and the rest of the Palestinian resistance, unable to free its hostages, those being the two stated war aims of the war criminal Netanyahu regime, Israel stood defeated in the eyes of its own population and the world. Despite the mass killings, the torture and the rapes, the Genocide, the Holocaust, the Palestinian people refused to surrender in the face of the Israeli-US war machine.

They will not surrender to Trump’s threats either……
The Palestinians continue to defy all odds, refuse to die away, refuse to surrender, as they continue to have a strong belief and commitment to their cause of a Free Liberated Palestinian state – and the world stands with Palestine.
Thus, they continue to say – “To Exist is to Resist”, “Our Existence is Our Resistance”, “We Resist so We Exist’.
