World’s largest concentration camp,
Gaza’s two million suffering souls
all bear oppression’s brutal stamp,
sad state, which Israel extols.
That strip of ancient Palestine
was British Empire-occupied
until Brit World War Two decline,
when Zionism from it pried.
The Gazan slice of Palestine,
sadly sundered from West Bank rump,
is right on Israel’s firing line,
suffering, as bombs go “thump!”
Repeatedly, Israeli planes
bomb Gaza just to “mow the grass.”
For Gaza, danger never wanes.
Invasion soon may come to pass.
Without an army for defense
because it’s not a nation-state,
Gaza’s resistance is immense.
Hamas arose to retaliate.
Its “terrorism” gives pretext
for Israel to do its worst;
so, Gazacide may well be next.
By Netanyahu, Gaza’s cursed.
We all need fear what Gaza fears.
It’s conflict could become world war
for third time in a hundred years,
disaster we should all abhor!
Pray then for ceasefire and for peace
with justice that can put an end
to mutual carnage. War must cease!
Gaza AND all human life defend!
