Anti-racist supporters of Palestinian human rights call for a Free Palestine that can be accomplished by the World effecting an end to Apartheid Israel, human rights denial, the Gaza Massacre, the utterly unforgivable child killing (16,000 children killed so far by US- and Germany-armed Jewish Israelis in Gaza), the 57-year Occupation and the century-long Palestinian Genocide through draconian Sanctions against the Gaza Genocide-complicit US Alliance and neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel.
I have addressed this in a huge book detailing the circumstances of the sorely oppressed Indigenous Palestinians that I have just published and entitled “Free Palestine. End Apartheid Israel, Human Rights Denial, Gaza Massacre, Child Killing, Occupation and Palestinian Genocide” [1] (for a prior very detailed and exhaustively documented account of the Palestinian Genocide see [2]). These key moral imperatives and how they must be effected through global Sanctions are briefly summarized below.
(1). End Apartheid Israel. Apartheid is condemned as a crime against Humanity by the International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid [3]. The circa 15 million mostly impoverished Indigenous Palestinians include 7 million Exiled Palestinians (excluded on pain of death from living in the land continuously inhabited by their forebears for over 3,000 years), 5.6 million Occupied Palestinians (highly abusively and violently confined without human rights by Jewish Israeli-ruled Apartheid Israel to ever-dwindling West Bank ghettoes and to the besieged, bombed and now completely devastated Gaza Concentration Camp), and 2.1 million Palestinian Israelis (unlike the Occupied Palestinians, able to vote for the government ruling them, albeit as Third Class citizens under 65 race-based, Nazi-style discriminatory laws). Despite a century-long Palestinian Genocide and 3 successive mass population expulsions from their homes (800,000 in the 1948 Nakba, 0.4 million in the 1967 Naksa and 2 million in the 2023-2024 Gaza Massacre), Indigenous Palestinians represent over 50% of the Subjects of Apartheid Israel (Jewish Israelis only 47%). However 73% of the Occupied Palestinian Subjects of Apartheid Israel are excluded from voting for the government ruling them i.e. they are subject to egregious Apartheid. Prior to 7 October 2023 the per capita GDP was a deadly $1,000 (Gaza), $3,500 (Occupied Palestinians) and $55,500 (occupier Israel) [2].
How: After 69 Africans were killed and 180 wounded by South African police in the 1960 Sharpeville Massacre, an outraged World responded with comprehensive Boycotts and Sanctions against Apartheid South Africa that eventually removed Apartheid by 1994 [4]. As of 23 April 2024 (Day 200 after the Palestinian Breakout from the Gaza Concentration Camp on 7 October 2023) and taking into account the dead under rubble, the deaths in Gaza are as follows: 42,510 killed (including 15,780 children, 10,091 women, 38,621 civilians, and 137 journalists), with 79,240 injured [5]. This 42,510/69 = 616-fold greater death toll in the Gaza Massacre (so far) surely merits comprehensive global Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against child-killing Apartheid Israel and all its child killing- and genocide-complicit supporters (notably the US, the US Alliance, Australia, UK, Canada and a now unrepentant neo-Nazi Germany). All those supporting Apartheid Israel and hence the utterly vile crime of Apartheid (notably Western Mainstream media and politicians) [6] are utterly unfit for decent company, public life and public office.
(2). End human rights denial. 5.6 million Occupied Palestinians are deprived of all human rights set out in the 30 Articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), 2.1 million Israeli Palestinians are subject to 65 race-based, Nazi-style discriminatory laws, and about 7 million Exiled Palestinians are deprived of the fundamental right to live in their own country (Articles 13-15 of the UDHR) [2, 7-9].
How: All circa 15 million Indigenous Palestinians should be immediately granted equal and all human rights. For decent people living in human rights-cognizant societies this is an unexceptional proposal, is independent of other matters (borders, flags, names etc) and can be effected immediately by simple signature. However this decent, obvious and unexceptional proposal has been rejected for 76 years by genocidally racist and egregiously mendacious Apartheid Israel and its Zionist and pro-Zionist supporters who insist on the “right” of racist Zionists to set up a “Jewish state” in the ancient country of another people. All people, politicians, parties, collectives, companies and countries rejecting the unexceptional proposition of all human rights for the long-suffering Palestinians must suffer comprehensive and draconian global Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) – they have parted company with decent humanity.
(3). End Gaza Massacre. The genocidally racist and egregiously mendacious Jewish Israelis inflicting mass murder and utter devastation on the Gazans argue that “Israel has a right to defend itself”, that this involves reprisals with “total extermination” of Palestinian fighters (asserted to be “terrorists”), and that civilian deaths in an “urban war” are unavoidable. International Law contradicts these racist Orwellian Zionist lies. In short, (a) war is the penultimate in utterly repugnant racism and genocide the ultimate in racism; (b) the Preamble of the UDHR and Article 51 of the UN Charter recognize the right of occupied people to rebel against tyrannical foreign subjugation, whereas Occupiers have no right to self- defence in a belligerently occupied territory [10]; (c) terrorism is as terrorism does and in the present Gaza Massacre as of 23 April 2024 (Day 200) Israelis killed by Palestinian fighters on 7 October 2023 totalled fewer than 1,200 (possibly as few as 600 [11, 12 ]) whereas Palestinians killed in Gaza by Jewish Israeli state terrorists totalled about 43,000 with this including about 16,000 children, 10,000 women and 39,000 civilians; (d) the UN Charter demands negotiations before even legitimate violent self-defence; (e) the humanity-brimming New Testament of the Holy Bible nevertheless advocates “An eye for an eye, and a tooth for tooth” [13] whereas as of Day 200 the Occupied/Occupier Reprisals Death Ratio was 42,510/1,200 = 35.4 , 3.5 times greater than the ratio of 10 ordered by Nazi mass murderer Hitler and effected in the 1944 Ardeatine Massacre (335 Italian men and boys executed in reprisals for 30 Nazi German Occupying soldiers killed in an ambush by Italian partisans) [14]. As of Day 200 of the Gaza Massacre the Occupied/Occupier Reprisals Death Ratio for children was 15,780/30 = 526 [5]. Nazi is as Nazi does.
How: Peace is the only way and accordingly armed World intervention to end the Gaza Massacre is totally contraindicated. Indeed US- and Germany-armed Apartheid Israel has one of the biggest high technology militaries in the World and has 90 nuclear weapons and delivery systems including 5 nuclear-armed submarines, with these vessels supplied by an unrepentant and genocide-complicit neo-Nazi Germany, a major arms supplier to Apartheid Israel [15, 16]. Decent Humanity must apply comprehensive and draconian global Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel and all people, politicians, parties, collectives, companies and countries supporting this mass murdering, neo-Nazi , pariah Apartheid state in any way. There should be no place to hide – like Nazi war criminals after WW2, all those complicit in the ongoing Gaza Massacre must be hunted down and arraigned before war crimes tribunals (today, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC)).
(4). End child killing. The prohibition “Thou shalt not kill children” is so fundamental and so utterly obvious to decent humanity that it is not specifically listed among the Ten Commandments, being subsumed under “Thou shalt not kill”. Words fail to describe the sheer evil of the mass murder of Palestinian children in Gaza by US-, US Alliance-, neo-Nazi Germany- and Australia-backed Jewish Israelis. I have repeatedly stated that “The world contains 2 kinds of people, those opposing the mass murder of children and the unforgivable others. Silence is complicity”. To reiterate, as of Day 200 of the Gaza Massacre the Occupied/Occupier Reprisals Death Ratio for children was 15,780/30 = 526 i.e. 526 Palestinian children killed in Gaza for every Israeli child killed in the Palestinian Breakout and IDF response on 7 October 2023. Nazi is as Nazi does. Children are starving to death in Gaza due to the war criminal Jewish Israeli siege.
How: The deliberate and continuing mass murder of Palestinian children in Gaza by Jewish Israelis is an unforgivable crime. In addition to (a) global Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Apartheid Israel and all its genocide-complicit US Alliance supporters, there must be (b) judicial investigation and punishment of all the perpetrators (including genocide-complicit Mainstream journalist, editor, politician, academic and commentariat pressitutes), and (c) a massive, global and continuing memorializing of this atrocity to ensure that this appalling crime is never forgotten. In stark contrast to this humane proposition, the genocidally racist and endlessly mendacious Zionists set up the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) to defame and disempower critics of the crimes of Apartheid Israel. The mendacious IHRA (with an all-European and overwhelmingly US Alliance country membership) is anti-Jewish anti-Semitic and anti-Arab anti-Semitic (by falsely defaming anti-racist Jewish, non-Jewish, Palestinian, Arab and Muslim critics of Apartheid Israel as “anti-Semitic”) and holocaust denying by ignoring all WW2 holocausts other than the WW2 Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million Jews killed), including (deaths from violence and deprivation in brackets) the WW2 Polish Holocaust (6 million), Soviet Holocaust (27 million), European Holocaust (30 million Slavs, Jews and Roma killed), WW2 Chinese Holocaust (35-40 million Chinese killed under the Japanese, 1937-1945), and the WW2 Bengali Holocaust (WW2 Indian Holocaust, WW2 Bengal Famine; 6-7 million Indians deliberately starved to death for strategic reasons in Bengal, Odisha, Assam and Bihar by the British with food-denying Australian complicity), and indeed about 70 other holocaust and genocide atrocities [4, 17-20]. Lest we forget, every town and city in the world should have a prominent monument listing the death toll in each of these appalling atrocities, including the sustained and unforgivable mass murder of 16,000 innocent children in the Gaza Genocide.
(5). End Occupation. Not content with violent expulsion of 800,000 Palestinians or 60% of the Indigenous population in the 1948 Nakba and seizure of 78% of Palestine, in 1967 the racist Zionists seized all of Palestine (plus parts of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt) and expelled a further 400,000 Arabs from Palestine. The 57 year Occupation was associated with highly abusive confinement without human rights of Occupied Palestinians to ever-dwindling West Bank ghettos and the periodically bombed and severely deprived Gaza Concentration Camp. The Occupied Palestinians suffered exclusion from all the human rights set out in the UDHR, large-scale home demolitions, massive seizure of Palestinian land, military rule, exclusion from Jews-only roads and transport, subjection to extraordinary poverty (GPD per capita $3,500 versus $55,500 for Israelis) and a crippling, humiliating and occasionally deadly system of checkpoints. For 17 years the Gaza Concentration Camp has been subject to deadly blockade and regular outbursts of deadly IDF bombing. The average Occupied Palestinian/Occupier Israeli Reprisals Death Ratio for the period 1 January 2008 – September 2023 was 6,407/308= 20.8 [21]. Things hugely worsened after the Palestinian Breakout from the Gaza Concentration Camp on 7 October 2023 to acquire hundreds of hostages to exchange for 10,000 Palestinians highly abusively held hostage in Israeli military prisons. After 200 days of Jewish Israeli bombing the Occupied/Occupier Reprisals Death Ratio in the Gaza Massacre was 42,510/1,200 = 35.4, the ancient city of Gaza has been reduced to rubble, and survivors of the 2.3 million Gazans are largely deprived of water, food, shelter, sanitation, medicine and medical care, and facing a final ethnic cleansing from Palestine. Thus respected, Israel-based British journalist Jonathan Cook: “Rafah will be destroyed, leaving the entire strip in ruins, and the Israeli-induced famine will worsen. The West will throw up its hands, say Hamas brought this on Gaza, agonise over what to do, and press third countries – especially Arab countries – for a “humanitarian plan” that relocates the survivors out of Gaza… Saying Hamas has not been completely routed in Gaza but is using this other Palestinian enclave as its base, Israel will gradually intensify the pressures on the West Bank with another blockade. Rinse and repeat. That’s the likely plan. Our job is to do everything in our power to stop them making it a reality” [22].
How: The Occupation is illegal under International Law and Apartheid Israel is compounding that crime by grossly violating Articles 55 and 56 of the Fourth Geneva Convention that demand that an Occupier must provide its conquered Subjects with life-sustaining food and medical services “to the fullest extent of the means available to it” [23]. The UN: “Whether the occupation is illegal ab initio or becomes illegal, the consequences should be the immediate, unconditional and total withdrawal of Israel’s military forces; the withdrawal of colonial settlers; and the dismantling of the military administrative regime, with clear instructions that withdrawal for breach of an internationally wrongful act is not subject to negotiation. Full and commensurate reparations should be accorded to the affected Palestinian individuals, corporations and entities for the generational harm caused by Israel’s land and property appropriations, house demolitions, pillage of natural resources, denial of return, and other war crimes and crimes against humanity orchestrated for the colonialist, annexationist aims of an illegal occupant” [24]. To end the 57 year Occupation Humanity must apply comprehensive global Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel and all people and countries supporting this serial war criminal and genocidal Apartheid state. All those complicit in the Occupation and the ongoing Gaza Massacre must be arraigned before war crimes tribunals.
(6). End Palestinian Genocide. The century-long Palestinian Genocide dates from the British invasion of the Turkish Empire in WW1 for oil and imperial hegemony, and has been associated with about 2 million Palestinian deaths from violence (0.1 million) and imposed deprivation (the remainder) [2, 25, 26]. This carnage is of the same order of magnitude as deaths in the WW2 Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million) and the WW2 Polish Holocaust (6 million). The Palestinian Genocide has been associated with 3 mass population expulsion events: (1) the 1948 Nakba (0.8 million), (2) the 1967 Naksa (0.4 million), and (3) the present Gaza Massacre (2 million expelled from their homes and now facing expulsion from Palestine). The neo-Nazi Jewish Israelis have stepped up violence against Occupied Palestinians in the West Bank. What has been imposed on the Indigenous Palestinians is genocide that is defined thus in Article 2 of the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (UN Genocide Convention): “In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:(a) Killing members of the group; (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group” [27].
How: The World must stop the Palestinian Genocide now through comprehensive Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) applied to Apartheid Israel and all its supporters. All those complicit in the Palestinian Genocide must be punished as set out in Article 3 of the UN Genocide Convention: “The following acts shall be punishable: (a) Genocide; (b) Conspiracy to commit genocide; (c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide; (d) Attempt to commit genocide; (e) Complicity in genocide” [27].
What can individuals do? We are all obliged to do our bit in opposing the Palestinian Genocide by joining activist groups, attending rallies, writing letters to media, articles, books etc. I have attended most of the Sunday Gaza Rallies in the Melbourne CBD (held nearly every Sunday since 7 October 2023 with each event involving 5,000-40,000 people). I have a huge, highly visible, 2-sided, black text on white placard that says on one side WORLD: STOP PALESTINIAN GENOCIDE and on the other: BOYCOTT APARTHEID ISRAEL. Peace is the only way but silence kills and silence is complicity. As an exercise in empathy just look out your window and imagine that the mass murder and urban levelling as in Gaza by neo-Nazi Jewish Israelis were to happen to your suburb, town or city. Speak out! The bottom line is that Mainstream journalists, editors and politicians complicit in the Gaza Genocide and the mass murder of children (16,000 so far) are an utter disgrace. Politicians complicit in the mass murder of children and the Gaza Genocide (the US Republican/Democrat, UK Conservative/Labour, and Australian Coalition/Labor political duopolies) are utterly unfit for public life, and must be urgently removed by the ballot box.

Gaza is one of the world’s most ancient cities but has now been reduced to rubble. Before 7 October 2023 the hermetically sealed Gaza Concentration Camp had a per capita GDP of $1,000 (versus $55,500 for the occupier Apartheid Israel) and suffered deadly blockade and periodic bombing for 16 years. Despite this deadly imposed deprivation the heroic Gazans achieved bare survival with minimal infrastructure, businesses, schools, hospitals and universities – but that has now been destroyed by the genocidal Jewish Israelis. 2.3 million Gazans have now endured over 200 days of siege, bombing and substantial US- and US Alliance-backed Jewish Israeli denial of water, food, shelter, sanitation, fuel, electricity, medicine, and medical care.
The core ethos of Humanity is Kindness and Truth but this is grossly violated by genocidally racist and egregiously mendacious Zionists and their US Alliance backers. About 16,000 Palestinian children have been killed so far, and words fail to describe the sheer unforgivable evil of this atrocity. “Free Palestine” concludes that “The World contains 2 kinds of people, those opposing the mass murder of children, and the unforgivable others. Silence is complicity… If Western governments continue to support the mass murder of Palestinian children – the unforgivable worst of crimes – then anything goes”. The world is existentially threatened by nuclear weapons and climate change, and present criminal political inaction foreshadows unimaginable horrors this century on a scale vastly greater than the Palestinian Genocide – the young must revolt and effect removal of the unforgivably pro-Apartheid and genocide-complicit Western political Establishments. We are all Palestinians.
