The 7 October Breakout of lightly-armed Occupied Palestinian fighters from the Gaza Concentration Camp was to acquire Israeli hostages to swap for 10,000 Occupied Palestinian hostages held by Israel. The Israel Defence Force (IDF) responded with tank shelling and missiles from helicopter gunships, killing about 1,500 Palestinians in Israel and a substantial proportion of the 1,200 Israelis killed in Israel, but lying Western media falsely report a Hamas terrorist massacre.
The US ABC News reported that about 1,500 Occupied Palestinian fighters were killed along the Israel-Gaza border, and initial reports were of 1,400 Israelis being killed inside Israel [1], although this was later revised to 1,200. Eye-witness testimonies, evidence of many charred and mangled bodies, and photographs of twisted car wreckage, and buildings reduced to charred rubble, all indicate damage inflicted by high explosive shelling from Israeli tanks and high explosive missiles from Israeli helicopter gunships that were deployed to the scene in the hours following the Breakout. The huge death toll and evidence of mangled and incinerated cars, buildings and people suggested that the IDF was actually responsible for most of the Israeli deaths in Israel after the Breakout.
Analysis of the Israel dead from detailed photographic and statistical data provided by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz yields the following breakdown of Israelis killed: Of the 1,200 Israelis killed 84.2% (1,010) were 18-39 years old (i.e. were current Israeli military, conscripts or reservists), 13.3% (160) were 40 and older (with most being former or existing military), and 2.5% (30) were aged under 18 (children) i.e. about 97% of those killed were legitimate military targets as past or serving Occupying forces [2]. Further, the firepower of the IDF (shells and missiles) vastly exceeded the firepower of the lightly-armed Palestinians. If deaths in the fire zone are proportional to firepower then most of the Israeli deaths on or about 7 October were due to the IDF.
Nevertheless the pathologically mendacious, US-beholden and Zionist-subverted Western Mainstream media (MSM) overwhelmingly ignore these realities and instead endlessly regurgitate Apartheid Israeli propaganda, notably the false claim that Hamas terrorists massacred 1,200 Israelis on 7 October. Indeed if you Google the phrase “Hamas massacre” you get about 1,300,000 results whereas if you Google the phrase “IDF massacre” you get about 2,000 results.
According to Euro-Med Human Rights Watch on “Day 82 of the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip 7 October to 27 December 2023”: 29,124 killed, this taking into account of these presumed dead under the rubble, and including 11,422 children, 5,822 women, and 26,706 civilians [3]. If one includes the Occupied Palestinian fighters killed in Israel (1,500) [1] and the Occupied Palestinians killed in the West Bank (300 including 79 children) [4] then the Occupied Palestinian deaths total 30,294 including 11,501 children. Israelis killed in Gaza total about 160 [5].
The mendacious Western Mainstream media (a) typically falsely report about 20,000 Occupied Palestinian deaths, (b) falsely claim that 1,200 Israelis were massacred by Hamas, (c) ignore IDF killing of Israelis on 7 October, (d) falsely claim that “Israel has a right to defend itself” (whereas under International law the Occupied Palestinians have a right to defend themselves from the Occupying Power, but the Occupier does not have a right to self-defence [6-9]), (e) ignore the 10,000 Occupied Palestinians held hostage by Apartheid Israel and indeed 5.6 million Occupied Palestinians held hostage without human rights under Nazi-style Israeli military rule, and (f) dismiss the Occupied Palestinian resistance, notably Hamas, as “terrorists” whereas terrorism is as terrorism does, and Nazism is as Nazism does – Occupied Palestinians deaths inflicted by the Israelis from 7 October onwards are 22 times greater than Israeli deaths as summarized below.
Terrorism is as terrorism does. The average Occupied Palestinian/Occupier Israeli reprisals Death Ratio for 1 January 2008 – September 2023 was 6,407/308= 20.8 [10-13] which predicts 20.8 x 1,400 = 29,000 Palestinian deaths in the present atrocity. One notes that the Occupied/Occupier Reprisals Death Ratio was ordered to be 10 by Nazi leader Adolph Hitler in 1944, his order being effected with the execution of 335 Italian men and boys in the Ardeatine Cave Massacre, Rome, in reprisals for the ambushing and killing of 30 German soldiers by Italian Partisans [14]. Presently at 11 weeks after the 7 October Breakout, the Occupied/Occupier Reprisals Death Ratio in the current atrocity is 30,294 Occupied Palestinians killed/ 1,360 Israelis killed = 22.3 (this ignoring the likelihood that many of the 1,200 Israelis killed on 7 October were killed by IDF shells and missiles). ANADOLU AGENCY. Anadolu Agency (Turkiye) on IDF killing Israelis on 7 October: “An Israeli eyewitness said that during Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel, the army surrounded a house containing members of the Palestinian group and Israelis and later opened fire with tank rounds, killing all of them. It appeared to be the latest implementation of the Hannibal Protocol, which involves the killing of enemy-held captives to prevent Israeli civilians from being taken to Gaza as hostages” [15].
BLUMENTHAL. Max Blumenthal (prominent Alternative media journalist, editor of The Grayzone and author of 4 books)[16] on IDF killing Israelis: “Israel’s military received orders to shell Israeli homes and even their own bases as they were overwhelmed by Hamas militants on October 7. How many Israeli citizens said to have been “burned alive” were actually killed by friendly fire? Several new testimonies by Israeli witnesses to the October 7 Hamas surprise attack on southern Israel adds to growing evidence that the Israeli military killed its own citizens as they fought to neutralize Palestinian gunmen” [17].
COOK. Jonathan Cook (respected, British-Israeli journalist based in Israel, author of 3 books and recipient of the Martha Gellhorn award for journalism [18]) on IDF killing Israelis: “What seems certain from this growing body of evidence – and from the trail of visual clues – is that on 7 October many Israeli civilians were killed either in the crossfire of gun battles between Israel and Hamas or by Israeli military directives to stop Hamas fighters returning to Gaza and taking hostages with them. This week, an Israeli commentator in the Haaretz newspaper called the testimonies “earth-shattering”, and added: “Was the Hannibal directive applied to civilians? An investigation and public debate need to happen now, no matter how difficult they are.” As the army has made clear, it has no intention to investigate when its whole genocidal campaign against Gaza is premised on lurid claims that appear to bear a limited relationship to reality. None of that justifies Hamas’ atrocities, especially the killing and taking hostage of civilians. But it does paint a very different picture of that day’s events… And those fables have served as the basis for western indulgence and sympathy for Israel as it has carried out ethnic cleansing and genocide in Gaza. The truth is it would have been much harder for western governments to sell Israel’s rampage in Gaza to their publics had Hamas’ crimes been seen, sadly, as all too typical of modern militarised confrontations in which civilians become collateral damage. What western governments and institutions should have done is demand an independent investigation to clarify the extent of Hamas atrocities that day rather than echo Israeli officials who wanted an excuse to trash Gaza and drive its inhabitants into neighbouring Sinai .The western media’s performance has been even more dismal – and dangerous. It professes to be a watchdog on power. But it has repeatedly amplified the Israeli occupier’s evidence-free claims, peddled libels against Palestinians with little or no scrutiny, and actively suppressed evidence challenging Israel’s official narrative. For that reason alone, western journalists are entirely complicit in the crimes against humanity currently being perpetrated in Gaza – crimes being committed right now, not two months ago.” [19].
Jonathan Cook on IDF killing Israelis: “ A cursory look at the wreckage in the various kibbutz communities that were attacked that day should raise questions in the mind of any good reporter. Were Palestinian militants in a position to actually inflict physical damage to that degree and extent with the kind of light weapons they carried? And if not, who else was in a position to wreak such havoc other than Israel? A separate question that good journalists ought to be asking is this: What was the purpose of such damage? What did the Palestinian militants hope to achieve by it? The implicit answer the media is supplying is also the answer the Israeli military wants western publics to hear: that Hamas engaged in an orgy of gratuitous killing and savagery because … well, let’s say the quiet part out loud: because Palestinians are inherently savage. With that as the implicit narrative, western politicians have been handed a licence to cheerlead Israel as it murders a Palestinian child in Gaza every few minutes. Savages only understand the language of savagery, after all” [20].
Jonathan Cook on putative complete ethnic cleansing of Gaza: “After a series of failed, secret diplomatic efforts over the past 16 years to arm-twist Egypt into accepting this so-called “peace plan” – known officially as the Greater Gaza Plan – Israel may be tempted to exploit the current moment to implement a much crueller version of it by force. That would certainly explain Israel’s current devastating bombing campaign in Gaza – which officials are positively comparing to the horrifying firebombing of civilians in the German city of Dresden in the Second World War – as well as Israel’s order to one million Palestinians to ethnically cleanse themselves from northern Gaza. The concentration of Palestinians into southern Gaza – where they are also being bombed and deprived of power, food, water and communications, with hospitals and aid compounds unable to function – has created an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe. The pressure is building day by day on Egypt’s military ruler Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to open the Rafah crossing on humanitarian grounds and let Palestinians flood into Sinai. Hamas’ attack on Israeli communities next to Gaza on 7 October may have provided precisely the pretext Israel needs to dust off its ethnic cleansing plan” [21].
DAMON. Andre Damon (World Socialist Web Site, WSWS) on Israeli and US foreknowledge of the 7 October breakout plans: “On Friday, the New York Times published a report establishing conclusively that Israel was fully informed, in detail, of plans by Hamas to attack its border that were executed on October 7. These revelations make clear that Israeli officials, knowing full well where and how Hamas would strike, made a deliberate decision to stand down in order to facilitate the attack. These revelations mean that the Israeli government allowed and abetted the killing of their own citizens and that the Israeli government is responsible for the deaths that took place that day. This criminal conspiracy was aimed at establishing a pretext for a long-planned genocide against the people of Gaza. Moreover, it is impossible to believe that the United States was uninformed of Hamas’s plans, under conditions where not only Israeli intelligence, but also Egypt had advance warnings of the attack. Everything points to a plot that involved Israel, the Biden administration and likely British and European intelligence agencies… The exposure of Israel’s foreknowledge of the attack likewise exposes the US media and political establishment, which have fully embraced Israel’s claims to have been caught by surprise by the attack, and that the events of October 7 justify the genocide now being unleashed in Gaza. These revelations expose the Gaza genocide to be a criminal conspiracy by the Netanyahu regime and its imperialist backers, whose victims include not only 20,000 slaughtered Palestinians, but the Israeli population itself” [22].
FLOUNDERS. Sara Flounders on IDF killing Israelis: “Day after day, hundreds of news articles and video pieces in the U.S. corporate media include at least a paragraph justifying Israeli bombing. That paragraph restates that Israel is responding to the “unprovoked” October 7 attack that killed 1,200 Israelis. The media repeat that paragraph to justify the massive destruction in Gaza, the more than 20,000 Palestinian deaths and the nonstop raids and kidnappings in the West Bank. This media effort is unraveling. Repeating again and again that October 7 was the start of and the reason for the Israeli assault rips out the history of decades of the Israeli army’s bombing, displacement, sanctions and past massacres of Palestinians. Beyond that, the very charge of 1,200 deaths by resistance forces is now being increasingly challenged. Evidence is seeping out exposing that the Israeli army was frantic and used massive firepower, which caused many of the 1,200 Israeli deaths on October 7. Even in the Israeli media some of the Israeli regime’s more blatant lies and justifications are being questioned” [23].
HEDGES. Chris Hedges (American journalist, author, anti-war and pro-human rights commentator, Presbyterian minister, Pulitzer Prize winner, and author of 16 books [24]) on genocide in Gaza: “Israel will not be deterred. It plans to finish the job, to obliterate what is left in the north of Gaza and decimate what remains in the south. To render Gaza uninhabitable. To see its 2.3 million people driven out in a massive campaign of ethnic cleansing via starvation, terror, slaughter and infectious diseases” [25].
Chris Hedges on IDF targeting Hamas and hostages on 7 October: “Fascists do not respect the sanctity of life. Human beings, even from their own tribe, are expendable to build their deranged utopia. The zealots in power in Israel could have exchanged the hostages held by Hamas for the thousands of Palestinian hostages held in Israeli prisons, which is why the Israeli hostages were seized. And there is evidence that in the chaotic fighting that took place once Hamas militants entered Israel, the Israeli military decided to target not only Hamas fighters, but the Israeli captives with them” [26, 27].
Chris Hedges on US supply of weapons for Israel’s genocide in Gaza: “The Biden presidency, which ironically may have signed its own political death certificate, is tethered to Israel’s genocide. It will try to distance itself rhetorically, but at the same time it will funnel the billions of dollars of weapons demanded by Israel — including $14.3 billion in supplemental military aid to augment the $3.8 billion in annual aid — to “finish the job.” It is a full partner in Israel’s genocide project… Israel is a pariah state” [28].
HERSH. Seymour Hersh (Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist who exposed the Mylai Massacre by US soldiers in the Vietnam War) on Israel withdrawal of troops prior to the Gaza Breakout: “The Bibi doctrine—his belief that he could control Hamas—compromised Israeli security and has now begat a bloody war. Sukkot celebration, held near a Palestinian village known in Hebrew as Haware, would need extraordinary protection, given the tension over the latest violence, and the local Israeli military authorities, with the approval of Netanyahu, ordered two of the three Army battalions, each with about 800 soldiers, that protected the border with Gaza to shift their focus to the Sukkot festival. That left only eight hundred soldiers,” the insider told me, “to be responsible for guarding the 51-kilometre border between the Gaza Strip and southern Israel. That meant the Israeli citizens in the south were left without an Israeli military presence for ten to twelve hours. They were left to fend for themselves. And that is why Bibi is finished. May take a few months, but he is over”” [29].
LEVY. Gideon Levy (courageous pro-human rights Israeli journalist) on utterly disproportionate Israeli killing of Palestinians: “There is no way to “explain” Israel’s conduct in the Gaza Strip. Destruction, killing, starvation and siege in such monstrous dimensions can no longer be explained or justified, even by an effective propaganda machine like Israeli public diplomacy” [30].
LOHANI. Nusmila Lohani on high technology IDF killing of Israelis: “After nearly two months since the 7 October carnage, many things still remain to be investigated about the day that sparked the war. Moreover, a kind of discourse that is causing a further divide among people over the Israel-Hamas conflict is the idea that Israel is also responsible for the high death toll on that fateful Saturday… The details of the 7 October massacre committed by Hamas was used again and again to recharge the fervour, and in many cases reignite the violent sentiment to kill Palestinians as punishment for the crimes committed by Hamas. It is imperative to look back to what started it all. The details, used so fervently by so many across the board — from Israel to Washington to the EU and others — to justify Israel’s military campaign throughout October, could be telling… One point stood out: the photos of the parked cars at the music festival that were heavily damaged, the charred bodies of victims and the burnt down kibbutz houses all looked eerily similar to scenes in Gaza after an Israeli air strike. It is the kind of damage that is wrought by Apache helicopters and not gunmen carrying AK47s. Israel of course used Apache helicopters that day to fire at the Hamas attackers” [31].
MEARSHEIMER. Professor John Mearsheimer (highly influential political scientist and international relations scholar at the University of Chicago, famous for developing the theory of offensive realism, and author of 7 books [32] on IDF killing Israelis: “It’s quite clear that on October 7 a good number – we don’t know what the number is – but a good number of the Israelis who were killed were not killed by Hamas – they were killed by the IDF. And I find that hardly surprising given the nature of the fight that was taking place. It is hard to discriminate in those situations. Now the Hannibal doctrine is quite a different matter. The argument there, or the claim there, is that what the Israelis do is that if it looks like an Israeli soldier or even an Israeli citizen is going to be captured by Hamas or some other terrorist group, to use the Israeli’s language to describe those groups, then the IDF will those Israelis so that they don’t become hostages. And the logic here is that the Israelis have such a high regard for human life that if hostages are captured it will be almost impossible for Israel not to pay an enormous price to get those hostages back. So it is better to surreptitiously kill them, better for the IDF to surreptitiously kill them,, rather than them become hostages, and there is a great deal of evidence that there is this Hannibal doctrine in practice inside of Israel. [Interviewer: “That’s murder”] I guess you could call it that” [33].
MIDDLE EAST MONITOR. Middle East Monitor (respected source of Middle East news) on IDF killing Israelis: New first-hand accounts from witnesses of Israel’s clashes with Hamas militants on 7 October suggest that, in their desperation to contain the surprise incursion, Israeli troops indiscriminately fired on their own citizens with heavy weaponry, resulting in potentially scores of Israeli deaths from so-called “friendly fire”. Testimonies of eye witnesses and Israeli sources compiled by The Grayzone, contradicts the Israeli account of the events that unfolded on 7 October. The Occupation State has refused to reveal full details of the atrocities it claims to have been carried out by Hamas and, thus far, has only released selective information about the attack. Unverified claims circulated by Israel that Hamas militants beheaded 40 babies on 7 October were widely rejected as propaganda which, critics argue, was designed to garner sympathy for Israel to carry out collective punishment of Gaza’s 2.2 million. However, a closer examination of events by The Grayzonetells a different story: one in which the Israeli military itself bears responsibility for numerous civilian deaths. The emerging details not only contradict the Israeli government’s version of events, but indicate that, in the chaos of battle, reckless Israeli fire likely led to significant casualties among the Israeli population” [34].
MIRFAKHRAIE. Dr Ramin Mirfakhraie (US-based sociologist based in the US and with research interests including capitalist globalization and international politics) on IDF killing Israelis: “On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian militant organization Hamas, which is headquartered in Gaza City and governs the Gaza Strip of the Palestinian territories, carried out a surprise attack by land, air, and sea on southern Israel. According to Hamas officials, the operation, called al-Aqsa Flood, was in retaliation for Israel’s hitherto violent raids and clashes with worshippers on the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied East Jerusalem, as well as to draw the world’s attention to the dire conditions of Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, where Israelis in illegal settlements have been increasingly engaged in deadly attacks on Palestinians. Soon after Hamas’s lethal attack, which was unprecedented in terms of speed, coordination, and scope, as well as the number of Israelis killed and injured (as reported by Israeli officials; some accounts suggest, however, that this number also includes Israeli civilians who might have been killed by Israeli crossfire), the Israeli government declared war on Hamas, a war that, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry and Palestine Red Crescent Society, has so far led to massive civilian casualties in Gaza, including the deaths of thousands of children and the internal displacement of around 1.9 million Gazans across the Strip due to Israel’s relentless bombardment of the besieged enclave” [35].
MONDOWEISS. Mondoweiss correspondent (anonymous for self-protection) in Mondoweiss (US-based anti-racist Jewish web magazine) on IDF killing Israelis: “Since October 7, the day’s events have been shrouded in mystery. There are not only questions about the Israeli intelligence apparatus’s colossal failure to anticipate what was happening in the tightly besieged Strip or the quick collapse of their billion-dollar “Maginot Line” but also the details of what actually transpired in the military bases and settlements around the Gaza Strip. We know that, by common estimates, 1,400 Israelis were killed in the following few days, but we do not yet know the details of how. Some reports are beginning to appear, including documentation of the killing of Israelis by Palestinian fighters, but there are a growing number of reports that indicate the Israeli military was also responsible for Israeli civilian and military deaths on October 7 and the days after” [36].
POLYA. Dr Gideon Polya (scientist, humanitarian scholar concerned with avoidable deaths from imposed deprivation, and author of 9 huge books) on IDF killing Israelis on 7 October (overwhelmingly past and present Israeli soldiers): “This is my considered take on the events of 7 October , the ostensible “excuse” for Apartheid Israel’s ongoing genocide of Occupied Palestinians in Gaza: “1,200 Israeli Occupiers killed on 7 October with quite possibly most having been killed in the Israel Defence Force (IDF) response to the Palestinian breakout from the Gaza Concentration Camp. Gideon Polya on IDF killing Israelis and the Israeli Big Lie for ethnic cleansing: “The neo-Nazi, pro-Apartheid Western Mainstream journalist, editor, politician, academic and commentariat presstitutes simply regurgitate the Zionazi Big Lie of a “Hamas terrorist massacre of 1,200 Israelis on 7 October”. However reports, notably from award-winning Western journalists Chris Hedges and Jonathan Cook, indicate that Apartheid Israel allowed the Hamas breakout to capture hostages, then responded with helicopter gunships and tanks in a bloody and scorched earth “Hannibal Directive” to destroy both hostages and captors, and then embarked on a genocidal Gaza Massacre and an already-achieved third mass population expulsion atrocity (after the expulsion of 0.8 million Palestinians in the 1948 Nakba and 0.4 million in the 1967 Naksa) with 2 million homeless and about half the population expelled to southern Gaza (ethnic cleansing)” [38].
ROBERTS. Dr Paul Craig Roberts (US economist, anti-war commentator, writer, academic, editor, author of 17 books, and former assistant secretary for economic policy under President Ronald Reagan) [39]) on IDF killing Israelis for a 9/11-style excuse for mass murder and genocide: “I have heard the official explanation of Palestinian perfidy, but I don’t have an explanation for the attack. It seems it would have to be more than perfidy. I do agree with readers that it seems a curious thing for Hamas to do as it plays into Israel’s hands. I also agree that there is something else strange about the attack. How did drones and so many rockets, allegedly from Iran, and some say Ukraine, get into the Gaza strip, and how did the Hamas attackers get into Israel? Hamas attack has something of 9/11’s flavor. Just as every aspect of the US National Security State failed simultaneously on September 11, 2001, Israel’s security system, including the Iron Dome the US constructed for Israel, simultaneously failed. Mysteriously, the Hamas fighters entered Israel on the ground and through the air and on the sea without being detected. Mysteriously, large quantities of weapons entered Palestine through Israel without being detected. This is too much convenient failure to be believable. It will be interesting to see if anyone in Israel is held accountable for the total security failure. In the US no one was held accountable for the security failures on September 11, which should have told us a lot. Not knowing, we can but speculate. We have a motive. Israel can now steal the rest of Palestine. Another motive might be that Israel can expand the conflict into a wider war and succeed this time in grabbing the water resources of southern Lebanon. It could even get nastier with Israeli moves against Syria and Iran” [40].
THE CRADLE. The Cradle (Israeli medium): “New footage corroborates previous reports that say the Israeli military is responsible for many of the Israeli casualties during the first day of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood… The Israeli military has released drone footage showing hundreds of scorched and damaged cars moved from the Nova music festival, providing further evidence that Israeli forces likely killed many of their own during the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on 7 October, RT reported on 6 November. The Nova festival took place near Kibbutz Beeri, only five kilometers away from the Gaza separation wall. It was one of the first targets hit by Palestinian resistance fighters when they broke out of Gaza, attacking military bases and settlements from 6:30 am. During the attack, the Palestinian fighters managed to take some 240 Israelis captive, including soldiers, settlers, and foreigners. The news shows an aerial view of hundreds of burned and destroyed cars taken from the site of the festival and placed in a dirt parking lot, creating a makeshift junkyard. Rescue service Zaka claims they removed 260 bodies from the festival site. Israel claims they were massacred by Hamas fighters and civilian Palestinian looters who flooded across the open Gaza border fence in the hours after the Hamas attack. However, the footage appears to confirm previous reports in Israeli media that Israeli pilots flying Apache helicopters responded to the attacks by opening fire on both Hamas fighters and Israelis. A 15 October report in Yedioth Ahronoth explained that the first helicopters arrived in the Gaza Strip about an hour after the fighting began” [41].
THE NEW YORK TIMES. The New York Times on Israeli and US foreknowledge of the Gaza Breakout plans: “A blueprint reviewed by The Times laid out the attack in detail. Israeli officials dismissed it as aspirational and ignored specific warnings… The approximately 40-page document, which the Israeli authorities code-named “Jericho Wall,” outlined, point by point, exactly the kind of devastating invasion that led to the deaths of about 1,200 people… Hamas followed the blueprint with shocking precision. The document called for a barrage of rockets at the outset of the attack, drones to knock out the security cameras and automated machine guns along the border, and gunmen to pour into Israel en masse in paragliders, on motorcycles and on foot—all of which happened on Oct. 7… The training included a dry run of shooting down Israeli aircraft and taking over a kibbutz and a military training base, killing all the cadets. During the exercise, Hamas fighters used the same phrase from the Quran that appeared at the top of the Jericho Wall attack plan… Underpinning all these failures was a single, fatally inaccurate belief that Hamas lacked the capability to attack and would not dare to do so. That belief was so ingrained in the Israeli government, officials said, that they disregarded growing evidence to the contrary… failures to connect the dots echoed another analytical failure more than two decades ago [9/11 in 2001], when the American authorities also had multiple indications that the terrorist group Al Qaeda was preparing an assault. Four days after the October 7 attack, veteran journalist Seymour Hersh reported that in the days preceding the attack , “local Israeli military authorities, with the approval of Netanyahu, ordered two of the three Army battalions, each with about 800 soldiers, that protected the border with Gaza to shift their focus to the Sukkot festival” taking place near the West Bank. Hersh quoted a source who told him, “That left only eight hundred soldiers … to be responsible for guarding the 51-kilometer border between the Gaza Strip and southern Israel. That meant the Israeli citizens in the south were left without an Israeli military presence for ten to twelve hours. They were left to fend for themselves”” [42].
WISTANLEY. Asa Wistanley (progressive journalist and author of “Weaponising Anti-Semitism: How the Israel Lobby Brought Down Jeremy Corbyn”) on massive IDF firepower killing many Israelis on 7 October: “Drone footage released by the Israeli military last month shows the extent of the destruction of the cars fleeing the Supernova rave on 7 October, likely inflicted by Israeli drones and helicopters… Israel’s army on Tuesday admitted that an “immense and complex quantity” of what it calls “friendly fire” incidents took place on 7 October. The key declaration was buried in the penultimate paragraph of an article by Yoav Zitun, the military correspondent of Israeli outlet Ynet. It is the first known official army admission that a significant number of the hundreds of Israelis who died on 7 October were killed by Israel itself, and not by Hamas or other Palestinian resistance factions… Israel has in recent weeks faced increased internal pressure to investigate the failings of 7 October. On Monday in Tel Aviv, family members of those Israelis who died on 7 October established a new group calling for an official Israeli government investigation into the events of that day. One of the speakers accused the government of a “cover-up.” Israel does indeed appear to be covering up a lot of the evidence. The Jerusalem Post reported recently that cars containing the blood stains or ashes of Israelis who died on 7 October would be crushed and – in what the paper said was a first – buried in a cemetery. The paper provided a religious pretext for all this. Nonetheless, this is a worrying development which amounts to a state-sanctioned coverup of what could potentially be some of the most important forensic evidence from 7 October. Since that day, there has been a steadily growing mountain of evidence that many – if not most – Israelis killed that day were killed by Israel itself. This evidence has been reported in English almost entirely by independent media, including The Electronic Intifada, The Grayzone, The Cradle and Mondoweiss” [43].
Final comments and conclusions.
The ongoing Gaza Genocide continues to utterly horrify decent people around the world. However the US veto at the UNSC and massive supply of deadly US weapons to neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel enables the killing to continue. However the killing has been ongoing for over a century from WW1 onwards (for a powerful, must-see summation see Pulitzer Prize-winning US journalist and war correspondent Chris Hedges, “The Genocide in Gaza” [44] and for a detailed and extensively documented account see [45]). The Palestinian Genocide has been associated with 2 million deaths from violence (0.1 million) and imposed deprivation (the remainder), and is of a similar order of magnitude to the WW2 Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million deaths from violence and imposed deprivation) [46]. Indeed the ongoing Gaza Massacre (Gaza Genocide) ranks among the worst atrocities in living memory. It demands comparison with the 1942 Warsaw Ghetto uprising and the 1944 Warsaw Uprising [46].
As documented here a number of decent journalists and writers (some of them eminent and award-winning) have concluded from a wealth of evidence that the massive tank and helicopter firepower deployed by the Israel Defence Force (IDF) on 7 October must have been responsible for many of the 1,200 Israeli deaths. These deaths have been used by the mendacious and genocidally racist Zionazis as a 9/11-style excuse for the physical destruction of much of Gaza, and the killing (so far) of over 32,000 Gazans including 11,500 children, with nearly 2 million out of 2.3 million Gazans rendered homeless. Unless the World can stop the Zionazis it seems likely that a third major mass population expulsion from Palestine will occur (into the Sinai desert of Egypt ) [21] in addition to the 1948 Nakba (or Catastrophe (0.8 million expelled from Palestine) and the 1967 Naksa or Setback (0.4 million expelled) [45].
The post-9/11 US War in Muslims was associated with 32 million deaths from violence (5 million) and deprivation (27 million) in 20 countries invaded by the US Alliance after the US Government’s 9/11 false flag atrocity that killed about 3,000 innocent Americans [47, 48]. Then as now the morally degenerate, Zionist-perverted and US-dominated West simply looks the other way. The violence of the Apartheid Israeli Gaza Massacre is already spreading with Israel and/or US bombing of Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, with Iran under acute threat.
The World must immediately stop the killing and immediately end the war criminal and genocidal 56-year Occupation. Decent people around the World must act urgently by (a) informing everyone they can about these utterly awful and unforgivable ongoing atrocities (silence is complicity), and (b) urging and applying rigorous and comprehensive sporting, business and cultural Sanctions, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against genocidally racist and neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel, its US backers, and against all people, politicians, parties, collectives, companies and countries supporting this neo-Nazi rogue state in any way. There should be no place to hide in the World for the these genocidally racist, US-backed and Nazi-style Israeli and American war criminals.
