Has the Election Commission exempted Prime Minister Modi from the Model Code of Conduct? How did the Chief Electoral Officer of UP permit this? Has the Commission cared to issue a showcause notice to Shri Modi?
Should not each one of you, Election Commissioners, discharge your functions as a part of the Commission which is a Constitutional authority, or for some reason, you consider yourself a body subordinate to the political executive?
The nation awaits your answers, as it is the people on whose behalf you have been appointed and from whose funds the Commission’s expenses are met.
