The Inquilabi Mazdoor Kendra and fraternal organisations conducted a series of programmes in different parts of Uttar Pradesh, commemorating the 105th anniversary of The Russian Revolution. In the qualitative sense most positive, in resurrecting the message of the Russian Revolution towards liberation of the toiling workers. Tribute to the painstaking mass work conducted by the Inquilabi Mazdoor Kendra in recent times in politically educating working class in organised and unorganised labour. It struck the striking relationship between the Russian Revolution with the Indian and world proletariat. It distinguished from the revisionist trends within the Communist movement and should inspire brethren of workers all over.
At Domdar Swaroop park in Bareali district, Inquilabi Mazdoor Kendra launched a public meeting, jointly with student organisation Parivartankama Sanghatana and Autorickshaw Welfare Association, The history of the Russian Revolution was summarised in detail, methods of constructing socialism, and significance of Russian Revolution in today’s times. A demand was placed to scrap 44 labour laws and speakers revealed how historically labour overpowered economic oppression to plant the flag of the proletariat. It was recounted how capitalism was engulfing the entire globe to enslave the working class. The nature of the offensive of capitalist penetration in relation to neo-fascism was narrated. It resolved for the labour to stand up to illuminate spirit of proletarian resistance to make the government retreat.
In Ramnagar Degree college a poster campaign was undertaken by Parivartankami Sanghatana, projecting the history o he Russian Revolution and impact globally. As well as the victories Political books were also distributed. A very prominent response by the student community.
On November 7th in Kashipur in Bengali colony at IGL Factory held a meeting commemorating the October Russian Revolution and conducted a pamphlet distribution. A poster campaign was also conducted on the historical importance and relevance of the October revolution today, in this very day and age. A prolonged campaign was conducted in the bastis propagating that the spirit of the Russian Revolution should illuminate and paying homage to all the martyrs forever.
In Patanagar Contract workers Kalyan Samiti conducted meeting on the 105th anniversary of the Russian revolution. In detail it summarised the pathbreaking achievements of the Russian and Chinese Revolutions, in every sphere. The subject of the ferocity of the contract labour system was highlighted at large. It was summarised how capitalist offensive was engulfing the entire globe to divide the working class and crush it’s struggles. The 44 labour laws were condemned ,which totally subjected the workers to the mercy of the industrialists Speakers explained how unemployment, price rise, labour retrenchment etc had scaled heights unprecedented .They interlinked the ascendancy of Hindutva neo-fascism with aggravation of the economic crisis and illustrated resemblance with The manner education was turning unaffordable was highlighted. Speakers spoke about how women still lay in bondage .The resistance of Russian workers to imperialist war designs of imperialist was covered .The meeting highlighted how even 75 years after independence there was no radical transformation in the lives of the working class. It was highlighted how in important ways colonial practices have not perished under the Modi regime. Production methods were contrasted with Socialist Russia.
A cultural team of Inquilabi Kendra in a public meeting performed a song “Chalo re Chalo Sathi,Ek Sath Sanghatana Banayenge” It inspired common folk.
