Game-changing Muslim, Arab & Young Voter Backlash Against Western Politicians Complicit In Gaza Genocide

Chevron Gaza

Democratically elected Western politicians overwhelmingly support Apartheid Israel and hence not just the evil crime of Apartheid but also Apartheid Israel’s genocidal crimes. However they are facing a backlash from Muslim, Arab and young  voters. All those who support Apartheid are utterly unfit for public life and public office in one-person-one-vote democracies as indeed are all those who support Apartheid Israel in its present  genocidal mass murder of children, women and men in Gaza.

The Western political duopolies – notably the US Republican/Democrat, UK Conservative/Labour, and the Australian Coalition/Labor duopolies – have common ground in fervently supporting Apartheid Israel and hence are complicit in its appalling human rights-violating and genocidal crimes.

Thus the century-long Palestinian Genocide has been associated with about 2 million deaths from imposed deprivation and violence, with the violent deaths now totalling about 0.1 million [1, 2].

According to the Israeli human rights group B’Tselem 10,712 Palestinians and 1,330 Israelis had been killed from 2000 to before 7 October 2023 [3, 4].

According to Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, from 7 October 2023 -13 February 2024), Palestinians killed by the Jewish Israeli Occupiers in the first  130 days of the latest Gaza Massacre totaled 36,671 (including 14,031 children, 8,122 women, 127 journalists and 317 life-saving healthcare professionals [5]. In addition  1,500 Palestinian fighters were killed in Israel on 7-8 October and 300 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank for a total of  49,183 Palestinians killed violently from 2000 onwards [5, 6].

1,200 Israelis were killed on 7 October with perhaps 650 killed by high explosive shells and missiles fired by the IDF [6] i.e. 2000 onwards Israeli deaths totaled about 2,000.  The 2000 onwards Occupied/Occupier Reprisals Death Ratio  = 49,183/2,000 = 24.6 or about 25 as compared to the 10 ordered by Nazi Germany leader and mass murderer Adolph Hitler in 1944 and effected in the Ardeatine Massacre in Rome [7].

It gets worse. The homicide rate within Israel (pre-1967 borders) is about 20 per million per year, the average Israeli population since 2000 was about 7.5 million, and accordingly from 2000 onwards about 3,750 Israelis were killed by fellow Israelis versus 2,530 Israelis (and very likely as few as 2,000) killed by Occupied Palestinians in the same period and over 49,000 Palestinians killed by the Jewish IDF from 2000 onwards. However the IDF has not reduced Tel Aviv, Haifa and West Jerusalem to rubble as has happened to Gaza. This shocking and readily-accessible statistic has of course not been reported by the Zionist-subverted Western Mainstream journalist, editor, politician, academic and commentariat presstitutes. Indeed I recently sent the following Letter to 8 major Australian media – but the Silence was Deafening:

LETTER: “Terrorism is as terrorism does. Careful analysis reveals that 49,000 Occupied Palestinians were violently killed by  Jewish Israelis in the period 2000 to mid-February 2024 (Israeli B’Tselem and Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor). In contrast, Occupier Jewish Israelis killed in the same period totalled 1,900 (conservatively assuming that half of the 1,200 killed on 7 October were killed by high explosive IDF shells and missiles). The Occupied/Occupier Reprisals Death Ratio was 49,000/1,900 = 26 as compared to the 10 ordered by Hitler and effected immediately in the 1944 Ardeatine Massacre in Rome.

The homicide rate for Israelis is about 20 per million per year, the average Israeli population since 2000 was about 7.5 million, and accordingly from 2000 onwards about 3,750 Israelis were murdered by fellow Israelis versus about 1,900 Israelis killed by Occupied Palestinians and 49,000 Occupied Palestinians violently killed by Jewish Israelis. However the IDF has not reduced Tel Aviv, Haifa and West Jerusalem to rubble as with Gaza. Apartheid Israel leads the world in killing journalists* and the IDF killed over 127 journalists (and over 14,000 children) in Gaza since 7 October 2023. ABC journalists in particular must be allowed to report these awful truths.

*Gideon Polya, “Remember Shireen Abu Akleh: Apartheid Israel Leads The World For Killing Journalists”, Countercurrents, 6 June 2022: https://countercurrents.org/2022/06/remember-shireen-abu-akleh-apartheid-israel-leads-the-world-for-killing-journalists/ . END LETTER (the ABC is Australia’s taxpayer-funded equivalent of the racist and mendacious UK BBC).

Western journalists working for Zionist-subverted Mainstream Western media are unable to defend co-workers by truthful reportage of the high incidence Jewish Israeli  murder of fellow journalists. In US lackey and Zionist-perverted Australia  journalists signing an Open Letter protesting Management censorship of Middle East reportage were threatened and intimidated [8, 9]. In the US the Los Angeles Times banned more than three dozen reporters and editors from covering the war in Gaza after they signed an open letter condemning Jewish Israeli killing of journalists and Apartheid Israel’s hugely disproportionate response to the 7 October Palestinian breakout from the Gaza Concentration Camp [10].

While neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel on a per capita basis is the world leader in killing journalists [11, 12] it shockingly also leads the world in killing children [12, 13]. Nuclear-armed Apartheid Israeli is among world leaders in high technology militarization and in state terrorism in Palestine, the Middle East and around the world [14-18].

“Thou shalt not kill children” [19] is so fundamental to Humanity that it is not specifically stated in the Ten Commandments but is subsumed into a general prohibition of killing in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible, Exodus, Chapter 20, verse 13: “Thou shalt not kill”. However Jesus in the New Testament, Matthew, Chapter 18, verse 6: “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea”

The Holy Quran unequivocally prohibits the killing of innocent people. Thus Surah 5 verse 32 of the Holy Quran states: “Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he had killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after  that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allah by committing the major sins) in the land.”

If you Google the phrase “we cannot vote for” coupled with the word Gaza you get about 18,000 results and notable among them are some comments from decent human beings objecting to Mainstream politicians in the Western democracies supporting Apartheid Israel in its Palestinian Genocide and its utterly unforgivable mass murder of children in the Gaza Concentration Camp.

It appears that a major Muslim, Arab and young voter backlash is emerging in the West as a result of US and US Alliance support for neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel in its horrendous Gaza Genocide that has so far killed over 14,000 children. Set out below is a sampling  of reactions in America, the UK and Australia of Muslims, Arabs and the young to this ongoing mass murder and genocide by Jewish Israelis. This horrible mass murder is particularly shocking to me because I am an anti-racist and hence anti-Zionist Ashkenazi Jewish Australian scientist and humanitarian.

America.

Seth Morrison (an anti-racist Jewish American Democrat voter): “As an anti-Zionist Jew and a lifelong Democrat, I have signed a public statement that bluntly declares, “We will not vote for Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential elections if he continues to support Israel’s ethnic cleansing and genocide of the more than 2 million Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip… We cannot vote for the re-election of a U.S. president who enables Israel’s campaign of mass starvation, bombardment, and murder of Palestinian civilians in Gaza” [20].

Saqib Bhatti (a Muslim American Democrat voter): “During the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama never directly addressed the bigotry behind the allegations that he is Muslim. Obama treated the misinformation campaign as a slanderous lie, further reinforcing the idea that Muslims are unfit for the Oval Office… Obama went on to further Bush’s wars, bomb more Muslim-majority countries than Bush, and kill countless more Muslims. I voted for Obama again in 2012. I even went to Nevada and knocked on doors for him, yet again. Lesser of two evils, right? Wrong. I am done voting for the lesser of two evils. I will not vote for Joe Biden in 2024. The man who offered his “rock solid and unwavering” support to Israel’s genocide of two million Palestinians in Gaza will not get my vote. The man whose administration circulated memos prohibiting staffers around the world from calling for deescalation or restraint in the face of ethnic cleansing cannot remain president. The man who is spending billions of our taxpayer dollars to fund an Israeli war machine that considers Palestinians “human animals” and denies drinking water and food to a million Palestinian children belongs at The Hague, not the White House” [21].

Mohamed Ali (a Palestinian American Iowa businessman) on the Iowa Republican primary: “Honestly, we don’t care about them. With all the debates, they all fight and compete over who supports Israel more… The Arab and the Muslim community, they are not voting for Biden. I did not talk to a single person who said he’s going to vote for Biden” [22].

Maria Reveiz ( a Lebanese American Iowa businesswoman): “I find it very difficult to stomach anybody who can’t call for a ceasefire at this point, no matter what party they’re in. I’ve left the Democratic Party. I have no affiliation. Palestine from here on out is my litmus test for anybody to get my support ever again” [22].

Steve Salaita (an Arab American writer): “Some Arab American individuals might vote for Biden this November, but the community as a whole won’t forget his endorsement of genocide… I grew up in the Arab American community.  I have a large extended family who claim the identity (along with my nuclear family). I know the community well, both personally and sociologically, and both in its working class and professional iterations.  It is my opinion that liberals who expect Arab Americans to forget about Biden’s endorsement of Zionist genocide when November comes around are profoundly mistaken” [23].

Dr Bishara A. Bahbah (an eminent Palestinian American scholar): “Arab and Muslim Americans, especially in the swing state of Michigan, were key to Biden’s victory in 2020. But now they blame the president for supporting Israel’s destruction of Gaza. Can these voters be persuaded not to ditch the Democrats in 2024?” [24].

Asma Khalid (Muslim American NPR White House correspondent): “There is a deep cynicism among Muslims in the United States right now because of the president’s support for Israel’s military actions in Gaza. And there was this striking poll that was released this week by the Arab American Institute that found support for Biden has plummeted. It showed support had fallen from 59% in 2020 to now just 17%. Likewise, a survey of Muslim voters found a staggering number of people say they cannot vote for Biden’s reelection. And, Michel, I have covered campaigns for years. I will acknowledge that Arab Muslim voters are a sliver of the electorate. But this is a major shift in a very short amount of time, and that is extremely unusual” [25].

Shahnaz Khawaja (a Muslim American mental health worker): “Dear Muslim Ummah in the U.S. If there is no ceasefire we ABSOLUTELY CANNOT vote for Biden/Harris another term. We must say no more. In your local elections, pay close attention to who you support. Our voices and our votes DO mean the difference between a win or a loss for Biden staying in office another term. If there is no ceasefire Biden/Harris must go. They cannot be trusted. Don’t be deceived by the breadcrumbs that they toss your way. These two cannot stay for another term. Our lives matter. Our voices matter. Palestinian lives are not disposable and we can and we will show them that. This is a call to action. Call your representatives. Protest this genocide. Demand that international humanitarian laws be upheld. Demand that Palestinian lives be treated with the same sanctity as Israeli lives. Palestinians are not disposable” [26].

Nevertheless the US political duopoly is fervently behind child-killing Apartheid Israel. Thus Ali Harb (Al Jazeera) reported 16 October 2023): “Progressive legislators in the United States have introduced a congressional resolution urging “an immediate de-escalation and ceasefire in Israel and occupied Palestine”. Monday’s measure — backed by more than a dozen Democratic members of the House of Representatives, including Cori Bush, Rashida Tlaib, Summer Lee, Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar [the Squad] — highlighted growing calls in Washington for a ceasefire in Gaza… Despite overwhelming support for Israel in Congress, Bush told reporters during an online briefing that the resolution is an urgent push Americans can rally around” [27].

Cori Bush (Missouri Squad Democrat) (24 January 2024):One hundred days ago on October 16, 2023, Congresswomen Cori Bush (MO-01) and Rashida Tlaib (MI-12), alongside André Carson (IN-07), Summer Lee (PA-12), and Delia C. Ramirez (IL-03), introduced H. Res. 786, the Ceasefire Now Resolution. The resolution urges the Biden Administration to call for an immediate de-escalation and ceasefire in Israel and occupied Palestine, and to send humanitarian assistance to Gaza. Upon introduction, this resolution had 13 original cosponsors, the first group of Members of Congress to demand a ceasefire. One hundred days later, the resolution has 19 cosponsors and has served as the key mobilizing tool for millions across the country demanding President Biden facilitate an immediate, lasting ceasefire. Since H.Res. 786’s introduction, over 50 other members of Congress have also come forward to publicly support a ceasefire, including 4 Senators. In the months since the introduction of the Ceasefire Now Resolution, hundreds of Ceasefire Now marches, rallies, and direct actions have been organized across the world. Just last week, over 400,000 marched on Washington D.C. demanding President Biden facilitate an immediate, lasting ceasefire. Over 16 municipalities, including St. Louis, San Francisco, and Detroit have passed ceasefire resolutions… [details of all 19 co-sponsors]” [28]. [Note: that the Congressional House of Representatives presently has 431 members and there are 100 Senators].

The activist groups Sunrise Movement, March for Our Lives, United We Dream Action and Gen-Z For Change wrote a Letter to President Biden that stated in part: “We write to you to issue a very stark and unmistakable warning: you and your Administration’s stance on Gaza risks millions of young voters staying home or voting third party next year” [29].

Elise Joshi (executive director of Gen-Z for Change): “My generation is appalled. There’s a lot of people who are not willing to put their votes towards this administration as a result of their actions in Gaza” [30].

In the US there are about 2.1 million Arabs (0.6% of the population), 4.5 million Muslims (1.3%) and 7.6 million Jews (2.4% of the population). However the vastly more numerous young people are even more important for a Biden victory. Thus at the 2022 mid-term elections 27% of young people turned out with 63% of 18-29-year-olds voting Democrat versus 35% voting Republican [31]. While 25% of American Jews regard Israel as an Apartheid state, this rises to 38% of under-40 American Jews [32].

United Kingdom

While the Zionist-perverted and US lackey Conservative-Labour political duopoly fervently supports Apartheid Israel, the Muslim Labour vote has crashed and the young are dissociating themselves from the child killing-complicit political Establishment.

Muslim Census: “Our sample of 30,000 Muslims shows 71% of Muslims voted Labour, and 9% voted the Conservative Party in the 2019 General Election. This concurs with the Survation poll in 2021, stating 72% of Muslims feel most aligned with the Labour Party. However, the fall in voting sentiment towards both parties should cause alarm. Just 5% of responses said that they would vote for the Labour Party if there was an election tomorrow, and less than 1% for the Conservative Party. If a 66% drop in the Muslim Labour vote were to occur at the next general election, this could result in a loss of 1.5 million Muslim voters… Responses show a drop [since 2019] of 66% in potential Labour votes, from 71% to just 5%. Conservative vote also dropping from 9%, to just 0.6% amongst survey participants. Almost all respondents claimed the change in voting intention has been as a result of the reaction to events in Israel and Palestine. The majority of respondents stated that their votes moved away from Labour or Conservative, to one of the following: abstaining to vote, Independent candidates, and the Green Party” [33].

The Muslim Vote: “On 15th November 2023, 81% of MPs did not back the ceasefire in Gaza. Muslims and all people who stand for justice agree that the current political class does not represent us. MPs like these should never get our vote again. Our goal is simple. This election signals a shift – Muslim issues at the forefront. We will no longer tolerate being taken for granted. We are a powerful, united force of 4 million acting in unison” [34].

Amaliah (Amaliah.com is dedicated to amplifying the voices of Muslim women): “A recent survey conducted by Muslim Census is set to send shockwaves through the UK’s political landscape… Perhaps the most alarming revelation is the 66% drop in support for the Labour Party among those who participated in the survey. If these figures were extrapolated to the entire Muslim population using the ONS Census 2021 data, Labour could potentially lose the support of over 1.5 million Muslim voters in the UK… In the 2019 Election, the Muslim votes were distributed as follows: 71% for Labour, 9% – Conservatives, 2.5% – Liberal Democrats, 2% – Green Party, 1.6% – SNP, 1.2% – Independent, 0.7% – Other. However, if an election were held tomorrow, the Muslim vote would look markedly different, with 38% choosing not to vote, 21% favouring Independent candidates, and significant shifts in support for other parties as shown below: 38% – Will not vote, 21% – Independent, 17% – Green Party, 10% – Liberal Democrat, 4.9% – SNP, 4.9% – Labour, 0.6% – Conservative, 3.4% – Other “ [35].

Nevertheless the UK political duopoly provides massive support for child-killing Apartheid Israel albeit with a somewhat greater degree of dissent than that found in the overwhelmingly despicable US Congress. Thus  Aletha Adu and Kiran Stacey (UK Guardian): “Eight Labour frontbenchers including Jess Phillips have resigned as Keir Starmer was hit by a major rebellion over a vote for a ceasefire in Gaza. Overall, 56 Labour MPs voted for an amendment to the king’s speech brought by the Scottish National Party, a major blow to the Labour leader’s attempts to keep unity over the Israel-Hamas war” [36].

Aditya Chakrabortty (The Guardian): “For many people under 25, opposing Israel’s brutal onslaught has become their generation’s rallying cause … For many people under 25 – whether brown or black or white – the daily pulverisation of Gaza is the totemic international issue of their time, just as the Iraq war was 20 years ago or apartheid in South Africa was for me as a kid. As an extensive study this week from pollsters More In Common puts it, more than any other demographic, “young people feel forced to pick a side”. Just as I didn’t really understand sanctions but would never touch Cape granny smiths, so young people overwhelmingly support Palestine. For the leaders and commentators of tomorrow, the past two months since the horrors of 7 October have been formative… However ardently Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer support Israel, Bury Park [Luton] disagrees. All around us were Palestinian flags, in the burger and souvlaki shops and in the retailers of jewellery and bridal wear” [37].

British students have engaged in School Strikes for Palestine across the country [38].

Australia.

Politically correct rhetoric aside, Zionist-perverted and US lackey Australia is fervently supportive of child-killing, neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel. Thus in the Federal Parliament 1 week after the commencement of the latest Gaza Massacre by Jewish Israelis  only the Greens and ex-Green Lidia Thorpe voted for an immediate ceasefire. About 3 months later and with 14,000 children killed and 100,000 Gazans killed, missing or injured, Australian MPs had a further opportunity in the House of Representatives to demonstrate their humanity by voting for a ceasefire. However  they squibbed it – only the 4 Greens MPs and the Independents Helen Haines and Andrew Wilkie voted for a ceasefire. The moral degeneracy of the Australian Coalition (opposition) and Labor (government) political duopoly was recorded as follows by the Parliamentary  Hansard:

“Australian House of Representatives, “Middle East”, Hansard, 7 February 2024: “Mr Bandt (Melbourne – Leader of the Australian Greens) (10:26): I move:

That so much of the standing and sessional orders be suspended as would prevent the Member for Melbourne from moving the following motion immediately—That the House:

(1) notes that since the House resolution of 16 October 2023 concerning Israel and Gaza, which supported the State of Israel’s looming invasion of Gaza by stating that the House ‘stands with Israel’, the following have occurred:

(a) an appalling and increasing toll of deaths and injuries caused by the State of Israel’s bombing and invasion of Gaza;

(b) a growing humanitarian catastrophe caused by the State of Israel’s blockade, bombing and invasion of Gaza; and

(c) the State of Israel is the subject of recent International Court of Justice orders in South Africa’s case regarding the prevention of genocide; and therefore

(2) does not support the State of Israel’s continued invasion of Gaza and calls for an immediate and permanent ceasefire; and

(3) calls on the Australian Government to end its support for the State of Israel’s invasion of Gaza.

Ayes (6): A.P. Bandt, S.J. Bates, M. Chandler-Mather, E. Watson Brown (Greens) , H.M. Haines, A.D. Wilkie (Independents).

Noes (91): [details]” [39].

Free Palestine Melbourne (FPM), of which I was a founding member, has anti-racist Jewish, Palestinian, Arab, Muslim, Christian, Greens, Socialist, and other Australian members and has helped organize huge rallies, speakers and marches (variously 5,000-40,000 people)  in the  CBD heart of Melbourne  every Sunday (except for 1 Saturday) since the bombing began on 7 October 2023. There are typically about  half dozen speakers at these huge Melbourne Sunday Rallies for Gaza, and the speakers include Palestinians, Arabs, South Africans, trade unionists, Greens, Socialists, professors, human rights  activists, and anti-racist Jews opposed to Jewish Israeli Apartheid and the horrendous Gaza Genocide by Jewish Israelis.

The Islamic Council of Victoria has demanded an immediate and permanent ceasefire: “Demand a permanent ceasefire from your ministers. With each passing day we see a mounting death toll and worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Over 12,000 have been killed since October 7, most of them women and children. One in every 200 Gazans has been killed by Israel’s indiscriminate military attacks. Meanwhile, Australia’s government and major political parties have refused to condemn Israel’s attacks. Numerous UN Agencies and independent non-governmental organisations have observed countless violations of international law, including potential war crimes and crimes against humanity. But Australia remains silent. Now is the time to act. We urge you to call upon your political representatives to demand a total and immediate ceasefire. Our elected officials must listen to the collective voice of Australians who demand an end to this immeasurable human suffering” [40].

Likewise the Arab Council Australia has joined 103 other organizations (including Free Palestine Melbourne) to sign on to an Amnesty statement condemning  the ongoing Gaza Massacre and demanding an immediate ceasefire: “We, the undersigned, express our alarm about the unfolding crisis in Gaza. Australia, and the whole international community, must immediately call for a ceasefire and for an end to the targeting of civilians in Gaza. We express our concern about all violations of international law. We mourn the killing of civilians, Palestinian and Israeli. Under international humanitarian law (the laws of war) parties to a conflict have a clear obligation to protect the lives of civilians. Israel’s attacks on Gaza as well as their complete blockade of Gaza are clearly in breach of international law… The Israeli Government’s cutting off of water, food, fuel, and electricity to Gaza amounts to collective punishment, and is a war crime. It is cruel and inhumane” [41, 42].

Young Australians have responded to the Gaza Massacre with support for the sorely oppressed Palestinians (about half of whom are children). On 12 December 2023 the Australian National Union of Students (NUS) unanimously passed a formal motion standing with Palestine at its annual National Conference, at which 156 delegates represented 23 university campuses across Australia: “The National Union of Students firmly opposes the Israeli government’s bombardment of Gaza, which has left over 20,000 people dead, and has displaced the majority of the population. We condemn the collective punishment by Israel of civilians by depriving them of food, water, medical supplies and other basic necessities. We send our unequivocal solidarity with all those subjected to the escalating genocide. NUS opposes violence against all civilians. We strongly condemn attacks that result in the destruction of schools, universities and educational institutions. NUS stands in solidarity with students and staff who have been expelled or fired from schools and universities in Israel and Palestine, for social media posts critical of the IDF’s actions in Gaza. The NUS acknowledges that calls for a free Palestine are not anti-Semitic and supports Students across the country rallying in support. We make an urgent call for an immediate end to the siege on Gaza, and an end to the occupation of Palestine. In order to prevent more loss of life, we call for the lifting of the current blockade on humanitarian supplies, including access to water, food and healthcare as a fundamental human right. We condemn the Australian Government’s support for Israel. The National Union of Students stands for an end to this genocide. Peace can not be obtained without equal rights for the Palestinians. We call for the world to recognise Palestinian self-determination” [43].

Indeed decent and admirable school  children around Australia (as in the UK) have taken time off from school for School Strikes for Palestine. Tom Bramble (Red Flag) has commented on the huge rallies and other  public demonstrations in Australia  for Palestinian human rights: “Israel’s bloody war in Gaza is soon to enter its third month. Three months of horror. Three months of mass killing and destruction. Fourteen thousand Palestinians dead, including at least five thousand children. The destruction of hundreds of thousands of homes, schools, hospitals, mosques and vital, life-sustaining infrastructure. From everything Israel has done so far, its goal seems clear—to drive the Palestinian population out of the Gaza Strip entirely, or, if that cannot be done, to herd them like cattle into a few square kilometres in the south. This is genocide, the attempted expunging of an entire population—a population comprising those who have already been driven out of their ancestral homes by Israeli terror and who are now facing a second dispossession, a second Nakba. Gaza will not be the end of it. Israeli occupation forces, including fascist “settlers”, have already ramped up attacks in the West Bank, killing more than 200 since October as they attempt to seize more land. The Zionist dream, and Palestinian nightmare, of “Greater Israel”, stretching from the Mediterranean to the Jordan River, with Palestinians driven out or confined to wretched camps, increasingly seems like a real possibility… The [Australian] demonstrations are larger than any previous Palestine protests—between 30,000 and 50,000 strong in Sydney and Melbourne, up to 7,000 in Perth and Brisbane and 3,000 in Adelaide. Then there are the first school strikes for Palestine, attended by more than 1,000 in Melbourne and hundreds in Sydney” [44].

Final comments and conclusions.

For all the US and  Western  politically correct (PC) rhetoric over mounting Palestinian deaths, the US under geriatric child killer Biden has just vetoed the Algerian UNSC motion for an immediate and permanent ceasefire. The racist and mendacious US would like a temporary ceasefire and return of 200 hostages (this ignoring the 5.6 million Occupied Palestinian hostages highly abusively held by the Occupier, neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel in the now 56-year Occupation). The US lackeys Australia and the UK have a similarly  hypocritical and racist positions.  In  vain the UN Ambassador and Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine, Riyad Mansour, told the UNSC that the Occupied Palestinians are facing 3 options: expulsion, death or continued deadly subjugation under Jewish Israeli-imposed Apartheid [45].

While the pro-Apartheid Israel and hence pro-Apartheid US Republican/Democrat, UK Conservative/Labour, and Australian Coalition/Labor political duopolies dominate their respective countries in the interests of the endlessly greedy One Percenters, as sketched above Arabs, Muslims, the young, and indeed all decent people are utterly shocked by the ongoing mass murder of Occupied Palestinian children, mothers, women and men by Jewish Israelis – while the world looks on.

This utterly horrendous, ongoing, Western-backed  mass murder of children while the world looks on demands a young-led Third Party Revolution in the Western democracies as recently suggested by Professor James Hansen (Columbia) and colleagues in relation to deadly climate change inaction that is set to leave the young a devastated planet [46]. The existing Major Party pro-Apartheid Israel politicians are utterly unfit for decent human company let alone public office because of their complicity in the ongoing .Jewish Israeli  mass murder of Palestinian children. Thou shalt not kill children.  Silence is complicity.

The well-deserved heroine of climate activists and especially of the young around the world, Greta Thunberg, and several colleagues, have recently commented on the genocide in Gaza: “We won’t stop speaking out about Gaza’s suffering – there is no climate justice without human rights … Israel has bombed basic societal infrastructure and civilian targets such as hospitals, schools, shelters and refugee camps. Israel has imposed a siege, preventing food, medicine, water and fuel from reaching the 2.3 million Palestinians trapped in the occupied Gaza Strip, leading Oxfam to accuse Israel of employing “starvation as a weapon of war”. Dozens of United Nations experts have described the situation as “a genocide in the making”, hundreds of international scholars have warned of an unfolding genocide and prominent Israeli genocide expert Raz Segal has called it “a textbook case of genocide”. But most of the world, particularly the so-called global north, is looking the other way… This amount of suffering is incomprehensible and cannot be allowed to continue. When UN experts call upon the world to act to prevent a genocide, as fellow humans, we have a responsibility to speak out… Demanding an end to this inexcusable violence is a question of basic humanity, and we call on everyone who can to do so. Silence is complicity. You cannot be neutral in an unfolding genocide” [47].

Some  might argue that when it comes to social policy, economic justice  and climate action the Democrats (in America), Labour (in the UK) and Labor (in Australia) are at least a bit better than their anti-science and anti-equity conservative opponents namely the Republicans (in America), Conservatives (in the UK) and the Coalition (in Australia). However Mainstream Western complicity in the mass murder of Occupied Palestinian children  is so shocking that it should be utterly impossible for decent people to vote for any of the major Mainstream  duopoly parties. There is an urgent need for a massive and immediate electoral shift driven by the utterly betrayed young to decent, humane Third Parties such as the Greens and Socialists and away from the utterly unforgivable, pro-Apartheid Israel  Mainstream Western duopoly politicians complicit in the unthinkable and horrifying  mass murder of children by US-backed Apartheid Israel.

What should also deeply concern all Humanity is that if US Alliance-backed, genocidally racist and neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel is permitted to continue grossly, criminally and murderously violating its presently 52% majority Indigenous Palestinian Subjects then the same thing can happen to us all.

On 21 December 2023, several days before Christmas, I published a Letter in several Australian newspapers that concluded: “Memo for Christmas gatherings: The World has 2 kinds of people, those opposing  the mass murder of children, and the unforgivable others. Silence is complicity” [48, 49]. Over 14,000 Gaza children killed so far by Jewish Israelis means that all decent people around the world should take resolute action against the “unforgivable others” by (a) informing everyone they can, (b) joining protest actions and organizations, and (c) urging and applying Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel and all people, parties, politicians, collectives, companies and countries supporting this child-killing,  Zionazi rogue state. The “unforgivable others” complicit in the mass murder of children are utterly unfit for decent company and public life – they must all be removed from political office at the ballot box.
