Australian Elections: Australian Voters Deceived By US- And  Zionist-perverted Mainstream Media & Politicians

We love Western-style parliamentary democracy for its personal rights and freedoms and peaceful change of government. Western democracy ideally means one-person-one-vote and a properly informed electorate. However children, who are most impacted  by the existential threats of nuclear weapons and climate change, are excluded from voting. Further, Western voters are subject to massive Mainstream media and politician lying that grossly perverts informed democracy.

Indeed private ownership means Big Money purchases public perception of reality and thus votes, more power, more private profit and an ever-widening wealth gap.  

Democracy is fundamentally about practical expression of the will of the people. The assertedly “democratic” US and US Alliance toadies like Australia criticize China for having a one-party system but under Communism 800 million Chinese were taken out of dire and deadly poverty and the fundamental  desires of the Chinese people are being met.

The government of the People’s’ Republic of China (PRC) have satisfied fundamental popular desires namely peace, personal, economic and national security, and good governance, health, life expectancy, education, opportunities, and economic prospects  for 1.4 billion people.

However this marvellous satisfaction of the will of the Chinese people after centuries of deadly foreign threat and  subjugation has come at the cost of constraints on the free speech and other human rights of political dissenters. One sincerely hopes that sensible social evolution will humanely and pragmatically address these deficiencies. Indeed one recalls Chairman Mao Zedong’s famous 1957 injunction “Let a hundred flowers bloom”.

Western-style  parliamentary democracy is great from a personal civil liberties point of view, but this is being eroded by Big Money Corporatocracy, fascism and Zionazism as exampled by the obscene travesty of Trump America. Thus 25 years ago I would tell my Chinese research  colleagues that “China is becoming more like Australia and Australia is becoming more like China”.

Since the US Government’s 9/11 false flag atrocity  the West has extensively criminalized dissenting views, passing draconian laws to punish those it conveniently calls “terrorists” i.e. people the US doesn’t like (mainly non-European people violently or non-violently  resisting European subjugation of Indigenous  non-European  lands). Thus the African National Congress (ANC) led by Nobel Laureate Nelson Mandela was only finally removed from the US list of  “terrorist organizations” in 2008.

Since the patently Apartheid Israeli-enabled Occupied Palestinian Breakout from the Gaza Concentration Camp on 7 October 2023, the Zionist-perverted West has  endeavoured to hide the horrific Gaza Genocide (680,000 Gazans killed by violence and imposed deprivation as of 25 April 2025, this including 380,000 under-5 infants, a total of 479,000 children, 63,000 women and  138,000 men). Instead the West has indulged in genocide-ignoring  “terror hysteria”,  and falsely alleging “antisemitism ” of pro-Palestinian human rights activists protesting the horrific crimes of Apartheid Israel.  

Spearheading this Zionist campaign against decent folk protesting the Zionist Israeli  mass murder of infants, children, mothers, women and men in Gaza is the all-European International  Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) to which Australia, the US, UK, Apartheid Israel and most members  of the US Alliance belong.  The IHRA is anti-Jewish anti-Semitic and anti-Arab anti-Semitic (by falsely defaming anti-racist Jews, Arabs, Palestinians and Muslims critical of Apartheid Israeli crimes as asserted “anti-Semites”) and holocaust denying (by ignoring all WW2 holocausts other than the WW2 Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million deaths from violence and imposed deprivation) and indeed by ignoring all holocausts and genocides).

Major targets of this false “antisemitism hysteria” have been pro-human rights students and academics at US, UK, Australian and German universities.

The 2025 Australian Federal Elections were  an outrageous and comprehensive  sham in which Australian voters were grossly deceived by the egregious lying by omission and lying by commission  of US- , Apartheid Israel- and Zionist-perverted Mainstream media and politicians. Lying by omission is far, far worse than repugnant lying by commission because the latter at least permits public refutation and public debate (subject to Establishment gate-keepers of course).

Some key elements of  the truth-perverting Australian flawed democracy are outlined below.

(1). Australia’s world-leading compulsory and preferential voting system made about 85% of voters as well as of elected politicians complicit in the Gaza Genocide.

Australia has a world’s best  compulsory and preferential voting system. Voters are fined if they don’t vote. Further, for a valid vote  in elections for the government-determining House of Representatives voters must list all candidates for a seat  in numerical order of preference. If a candidate fails to gain 50% or more of the first preference votes then second preferences are taken into account. This means that even if the most popular candidate fails to get  50% or more of the vote, the final winner exquisitely reflects the majority view of the voters.

Thus in the 2025 Australian Federal Elections for the government-determining House of Representatives (the Lower House)  the % of the primary vote by the major parties and groups,  and also the number of elected MPs (as of 8 May 2025; 11 undecided seats) was as follows (counting is continuing for 11 undecided seats): Centre-Right Labor (34.7%; 89 MPs), Right-Far Right Coalition (32.3%; 40 MPs), Centre-Left Greens (11.7%; 0 MPs),  Right but pro-Climate Action “Teal” Independents (7.5%; 8 MPs),  Far Right One Nation (6.3%; 0), billionaire-funded Far Right Trumpet (1.9%; 0 MPs), and Others (5.7%; 2 MPs).

In the government-determining House of Representatives (the Lower House)  Labor (34.7% of primary votes) was re-elected to government in a landslide by (a) securing about 85% of the second preferences of the Greens (11.7% of the primary vote), and (b) disaffected Coalition voters shifting to Labor. The Greens’ slogan was “Keep Dutton out” (Dutton being the inept leader of the Right-Far Right Coalition) and they were extremely successful with the Coalition suffering a huge defeat. However the Greens were victims of this huge Coalition-defeating success and failed to win any Lower House seats despite big voter support. 

As for the Senate (the Upper House) the Greens vote was a record 14% in the “Half Senate Election”. The Greens now have a total of 11 Senators out of 76 , Labor 28, Coalition 26, David Pocock 1, Australia’s Voice 1, Tammy Tyrell for Tasmania 1, United Australia Party 1, Other 1. Importantly, Labor (28) plus the Greens (11) and Australia’s Voice (1) have a majority of 40 Senators out of the total of 76 [2, 3].

There are a total of 76 Senators made up of 12 each for each of 6 States, namely (2025 population in brackets) New South Wales (8.6 million), Victoria (7.2 million), Queensland (5.7 million), Western Australia (3.0 million), South Australia (1.9 million) and Tasmania (0.58 million), and 2 each for the Australian Capital Territory(0.49 million) and the Northern Territory (0.26 million).

The Senate is highly unrepresentative. Thus Senate seats per million of population is New South Wales (1.40), Victoria (1.67), Queensland (2.11), Western Australia (4.0), South Australia (6.32), Tasmania (20.69),  Australian Capital Territory (4.08) and Northern Territory (7.69). Because of the historical circumstance of Australia being formed as a Federation of 6 colonies in 1901, the smallest state Tasmania has 14.8 times more Senators per capita than the biggest state New South Wales.  Indeed in 1992 former Labor prime minister Paul Keatingfamously called the members of the Senate “unrepresentative swill” [4].

Of course Indigenous Australians, from whom a whole continent had been stolen in the Australian Aboriginal Genocide imposed by the genocidally racist invading British from 1788 onwards, were only recognized and counted  as citizens after  a Referendum in 1967.

Deaths from violence and deprivation  in the Gaza Genocide. Because voting is compulsory for adult Australians, Australian voters as well as politicians are responsible for government policies, this including Labor and Coalition complicity in the horrific  Gaza Genocide that as outlined below was associated with 553,000 direct and indirect deaths by 20 January 2025 (i.e. by the temporary and Zionist Israeli-violated Ceasefire after 15.5 months of killing)  and 680,000 direct and indirect deaths by 25 April 2025 ( i.e. by Anzac Day 2025 commemorating  about 100,000 Australian war dead from the Boer War onwards). 

Expert epidemiologists published in the leading medical journal The Lancet estimated that after 9 months of killing in the Gaza Massacre direct (violent) deaths totalled  64,260 [5, 6]. Accordingly by 20 January 2025 (i.e. by the temporary Ceasefire after 15.5 months of killing) violent deaths would have totalled 64,260 x 15.5/9 = 110,670. “Conservatively” assuming that 4 Gazans died from imposed deprivation for every violent death yields an estimate of 442,680 indirect deaths by 20 January 2025 and hence a total of 553,000 direct and indirect deaths  by that date. As of 20 January 2025 the expertly estimated 553,000 Gaza deaths from violence and imposed deprivation included 310,000 under-5 infants, 391,000 children in total, 52,000 women and 112,000 men. Palestinian deaths in the century-long Palestinian Genocide and Palestinian Holocaust now total 2.7 million, with 0.2 million being from violence and the remainder from imposed deprivation [7].

A similar calculation estimated 136,000 direct deaths by 25 April 2025 and 544,000 indirect deaths for a total of 680,000 deaths [8]. Under-5 infant deaths are about 70% of avoidable deaths from deprivation in impoverished countries  [9] and thus 380,000 under-5 infant deaths in Gaza.  It was estimated from available data that by 25 April 2025 the 680,000 Gaza deaths from violence and imposed deprivation included 380,000 under-5 year old infants,  a total of 479,000 children, 63,000 women and 138,000 men [9].

The complicity of 85% of Australian voters in the Gaza Genocide was argued in the following Letters sent to the editors of major Australian Mainstream media  (MSM):

8 May 2025 Letter: “Shame is endlessly corrosive as brilliantly articulated in Salman Rushdie’s novel of the same name. Australia has a world’s best compulsory and preferential electoral system but this is only respectable to the extent that voters are properly informed. However in the 2025 Australian Federal Elections the utterly horrifying Gaza Genocide was resolutely ignored by all parties except for the Greens and like-minded humane candidates. Pro-Apartheid Israel means pro-apartheid. Compulsory voting means that 85% of Australian voters ignored the Gaza Genocide as did a similar proportion of elected MPs. They have cursed themselves with endless shame. There are 2 kinds of people, those who object to apartheid, genocide and the mass murder of children and mothers and those who don’t”.

9 May 2025 Letter: “The Age (7/5/2025) [Melbourne] incorrectly asserted that the Greens had suffered a “devastating verdict from voters” and falsely described the Greens accusation that  both Labor and Coalition were “complicit in genocide” as “hyperbolic and offensive”. Reality: (1) Labor (34.7% of the primary vote) was re-elected to government in a landslide by overwhelmingly securing the second preferences of the Greens (11.7% of the vote). (2) In the Senate race the Greens had a record 14% of the vote and have 11 Senators  that with Labor’s 28 and Australia’s Voice’s 1 constitute 53% of the 76 Senators. (3) The Greens, Socialists and Australia’s Voice were the only parties to demand an immediate end to the grossly human rights-violating Occupation and the horrific Gaza Genocide (expert epidemiologists: by 25 April 2025 about 136,000 direct deaths and 544,000 deaths from imposed deprivation, mostly children) and the only parties that anti-racist Jewish voters like me could vote for. (4) The Zionist-perverted Labor and Coalition were complicit in the Gaza Genocide in 20 ways and lie for Australia-violating Apartheid Israel in 35 ways. Those supporting Apartheid Israel and hence the vile crime of Apartheid are utterly unfit for public life and public office (cc MPs)”.

(2). Labor and the much worse Coalition are complicit in the Gaza Genocide in 20 ways

Space does not permit a detailed analysis, but details and exhaustive documentation of these immense moral failures are given here [10, 11]. Summarized below are 20 ways the anti-Semitic Australian Labor Government is complicit in the Jewish Israeli-imposed Gaza Genocide.

(1). Arms supplies from Australia to Apartheid Israel.

(2). Key arms supplies and dual citizen military from Australia to Apartheid Israel.

(3). Apartheid Israeli military co-research with Australian universities and companies.

(4). Shocking near-billion dollar deal of Australia with Apartheid Israeli Elbit Systems during the Gaza Massacre.

(5). Apartheid Israeli arms and related systems acquired by Australia have been obscenely and war criminally “pre-tested” on defenceless Occupied Palestinian,  Arab and Muslim populations.

(6). The cowardly, Zionist-subverted US lackey Australian Labor  Government permits America to supply raw intelligence on Australians to Apartheid Israel.

(7). Under the cowardly, Zionist-subverted US lackey Australian Labor  Government Pine Gap targets Israeli and US missile strikes in Gaza and the Middle East.

(8). The Australian Labor Government on Apartheid Israeli advice has suspended aid to UNRWA that is desperately trying to save Palestinian lives.

(9). Labor-backed Gaza Genocide is the penultimate outcome of Labor-backed Jewish Israeli Apartheid.

(10). Only the Greens, ex-Green Lidia Thorpe and 3 Independents have voted for an immediate  and permanent ceasefire in Gaza –  genocide-complicit Labor and the Coalition voted no.

(11). The US lackey Australian Labor Government is unforgivably second only to the US Government in supporting Apartheid Israel and has betrayed Palestinian human rights and Humanity in 85 ways.

(12). The preferential voting-elected Australian Labor Government  opposes an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza i.e. it unforgivably backs the continued mass murder of Palestinian children.

(13). The ability of Labor-backed Apartheid Israel to kill over 480,000 children and continue to commit  genocide in Gaza while the world watches derives in major part from  its possession of 90 nuclear weapons.

(14). Racist and anti-Arab anti-Semitic  Labor’s laudable diplomatic and military support for Russia-invaded Ukraine is in stark contrast to its unforgivable support for Apartheid Israel’s 76-year and ongoing genocidal invasion and devastation of Palestine.

(15). Racist and mendacious Labor falsely supports “Israel’s right to self-defence” in an Occupied country and falsely rejects  the right to self-defence of the cruelly subjugated Indigenous Palestinians.

(16). The Australian Labor Government  lies for Apartheid Israel in 35 key areas – “governments lie” but lying for an inimical foreign power is treason.

(17).The Zionist-subverted Australian Labor  Government refuses to recognize the State  of Palestine, supports Jewish Israeli Apartheid,  and falsely  delegitimizes Occupied Palestinian resistance fighters as non-state  “terrorists”.

(18). The  Labor  Government fervently and despicably supports Apartheid Israel and its past and present genocidal crimes by adopting the racist and fraudulent IHRA Definition of anti-Semitism. The IHRA Definition  of anti-Semitism is anti-Jewish anti-Semitic (by falsely defaming anti-racist Jewish humanitarians opposed to genocidally  racist Zionism), anti-Arab anti-Semitic (by falsely defaming anti-racist Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims opposed to Israeli Apartheid and the ongoing Palestinian Genocide) and near-comprehensively holocaust denying by ignoring all WW2 holocausts other than the WW2 Jewish Holocaust

(19). The anti-Arab Semitic and anti-Jewish anti-Semitic Australian Labor Government is complicit in the horrendous Jewish Israeli Gaza Genocide by fervently supporting and aiding Apartheid Israel, accepting the mendacious Zionist and Jewish Israeli narrative and ignoring expert humane opinion from aid and human rights organizations (e.g. about genocide, famine, UNWRA ).

(20). The Labor Government endlessly espouses the “rules-based order” but fervently supports genocidal Apartheid Israel that rejects the ICJ ruling on genocide in Gaza and, like racist White Australia, violates numerous International laws and conventions.

The Coalition is even more fanatically Zionist than Labor and indeed has been described by outstanding Australian human rights lawyer Professor Gillian Triggs as “ideologically opposed to human rights” [13]. Labor has historically been ostensibly concerned for the welfare of workers and is thus implicitly more altruistic than the Thatcherite Coalition. However a cowardly, Zionist-perverted,  US lackey and neoliberal Labor  is too scared to criticize  the genocidal war criminality of the US, UK and Apartheid Israel. Indeed the utterly appalling Coalition has declared that it won’t arrest ICC-sought war criminal Netanyahu under the ICC-issued arrest warrants and cowardly and dishonest Labor is too scared to explicitly say yea or nay [14] .

 For recently adopting this position (to win Arab and Muslim votes)  and for supporting a Ceasefire and an end to the  Occupation (but not within 12 months [3]) Labor has been variously condemned  by the Coalition, Zionists and ICC-sought war criminal Netanyahu as “anti-Israel” and “antisemitic” for voting for International Law and Palestinian human rights [14-18]. Pathological liar, genocidal racist, thief  and child killer Netanyahu absurdly accused fervently pro-Israel Labor  of being “anti-Israel” and thence asserted that “anti-Israel sentiment is antisemitism”: “The burning of the Adass Israel synagogue in Melbourne is an abhorrent act of antisemitism. I expect the state authorities to use their full weight to prevent such antisemitic acts in the future. Unfortunately, it is impossible to separate this reprehensible act from the extreme anti-Israeli position of the Labor government in Australia, including the scandalous decision to support the UN resolution calling on Israel “to bring an end to its unlawful presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, as rapidly as possible”, and preventing a former Israeli minister from entering the country. Anti-Israel sentiment is antisemitism.” [17]. The Coalition appallingly described Trump as a “big thinker” after he unforgivably proposed  the complete ethnic cleaning of Gaza [18].

 (3). Labor and the Coalition lie for Apartheid Israel in 35 ways.

(2) “Israel is a democracy”.

(3)   “Israel is a liberal democracy”.

(4) “Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East”.

(5) “Israel has the most moral army”.

(7) “Israel is not an apartheid state”.

(8) The holocaust-denying lie involved in describing the WW2 Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million killed) as “The Holocaust” [this ignoring (deaths from violence and imposed deprivation in brackets) the following WW2 atrocities: Polish Holocaust (6 million), WW2 European Holocaust (30 million), Soviet Holocaust (24 million), Chinese Holocaust (35-40 million) and Bengali Holocaust (Indian Holocaust, Bengal Famine; 6-7 million Indians deliberately starved to death for strategic reasons in Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Odisha by the British with food-denying Australian complicity) [21].

(18) Support for “Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions” (BDS) against Apartheid Israel and all its supporters is anti-Semitic.

(19) Supporting  boycotts of Zionist businesses is akin to the Nazi “boycott of Jewish businesses”. 

(20) Asserting “Jewish influence” and “Jewish power”  is anti-Semitic.

(21) Jews have a “right to Palestine”.

(22) Zionist Israeli assertion that “Hamas is a terrorist organization”[Hamas is violent and killed perhaps 500  Israelis in the 7 October 2025 Breakout but US-backed Apartheid Israel subsequently  killed 680,000 Gazans, mostly children: terrorist is as terrorist does; the African National Congress headed by Nobel Laureate Nelson Mandela was a US-declared terrorist organization until 2008].

(23) “Hamas terrorist massacre” and “Hamas massacre of children” on 7 October 2023 [most of the 1,139 Israelis killed in the Zionist Israeli-permitted Palestinian Outbreak from the Gaza Concentration Camp may have been killed by the  huge responding IDF shelling and missile firepower].

(24) Opposing a “Jewish state” in Palestine is anti-Semitic.

(25) “Palestine” and “Palestinians” do not exist.

(26) As an Occupying Power “Israel has the right to defend itself” in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

(30) The descriptive “Palestinian Territories”  [instead of the correct “Occupied Palestinian Territories”].

(31) Use of the term “final solution” is anti-Semitic.

(32) “Israeli settlements are legal”.

(33) The lie of a “two-state solution” [that is now dead because 90% of Palestine has been ethnically cleansed of Indigenous Palestinians and the Zionists reject it].

(34) The lie that “anti-Semitism” and “antisemitism” only refer to anti-Jewish prejudice [with this ignoring other racism, falsely ignoring “anti-Jewish anti-Semitism” directed at anti-racist Jews, and ignoring horrendously deadly and ongoing “anti-Arab anti-Semitism” in genocidal US wars on Arab and Muslim countries; see the huge books Gideon Polya, “Body Count. (4). Proof: Exposure of Australian  Mainstream media lying and censorship for genocidally racist, egregiously mendacious and Australia-violating Apartheid Israel.

“Proof” is an exceptional 1991 Australian movie about a blind photographer who hauntingly disbelieves his mother telling him as a child about a man raking autumn leaves in the garden [23]. A late friend of mine was a bit actor in a restaurant scene in which the blind man deliberately tips over a bottle of wine to get service. A scientist, I devised an experiment to obtain Proof of Australian Mainstream media lying about the Gaza Genocide. Since the Occupied Palestinian Breakout from the Gaza Concentration Camp on 7 October 2023 I have individually addressed scores of carefully researched and composed Letters about the Gaza Genocide to numerous Mainstream Australian media. The Silence has been Deafening – only several have been published.  However in the last weeks before the 3 May 2025 Australian Federal Elections there was total Mainstream media ignoring of my attempts to contribute to an “informed democracy”.

Reproduced  below are a series of such carefully researched but resolutely ignored Letters exposing the  Australia-complicit Gaza Genocide and nearly all sent in the month before the 3 May 2025 Federal Elections. They provide a damning record of  what Australian Mainstream media don’t want their readers to see, know about or think about.

Labor wins Australian Federal Elections: Cowardly, mendacious and  Zionist-perverted Labor is complicit in the Gaza Genocide in 20 ways:“Federal election realities largely ignored by Mainstream media and politicians: (1). The election result  was a huge victory for the Greens’ “keep Dutton out” policy (nearly all Labor MPs were elected by Greens’ preferences). (2). The  Greens were victims of their own success in losing seats to Labor  (many Liberal voters switched to Labor). (3). Despite the “Vote for Humanity” urgings from  eminent Australian humanitarians such as Professor Stuart Rees (founder of the prestigious Sydney Peace Prize), truth-telling journalists like famed Mary Kostakidis, the Medical Association for the Prevention of War,  the Greens, Socialists, the anti-racist Jewish Council of Australia and a solid body of anti-racist Jews, non-Jews, Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims, the Gaza Genocide was almost totally ignored in the 2025 Australian Federal Elections and its aftermath. (4).  By 25 April 2025 violent deaths in the Gaza Genocide totalled 136,000 and non-violent deaths from imposed deprivation totalled 4 times that number (The Lancet) i.e. 680,000 in all, mostly women and children, and 28% of the pre-war Gaza population (indeed Trump assertions implied 0.6 million deaths). Cowardly, mendacious and  Zionist-perverted Labor is complicit in the Gaza Genocide in 20 ways  and lies for Apartheid Israel in 35 ways.”

Labor wants 82% renewable electricity by 2030, but the climate criminal Coalition aims to cripple renewable energy uptake, and for electricity in 2040 being largely generated by coal, gas (that can be dirtier GHG-wise than coal depending on the rate of systemic gas leakage) and nuclear (that is uneconomic, non-renewable and hugely CO2 emitting overall). Final comments.

Before the tsunami of lies from pathological liar Donald Trump, Mainstream lying for the Western  political Establishments was more “sophisticated” albeit  still obvious to perceptive journalists like I.F. Stone (“Governments lie”) and John Pilger (“Those [ethical journalists] who retain pride in our craft of truth-telling, no matter how unpopular and unpalatable the truth. The rest is not journalism”), truth-telling writers like Gore Vidal ( “Unlike most Americans who lie all the time, I hate lying”) and was exposed by rare scholars like Professors Edward Herman and Noam Chomsky (“Manufacturing  Consent. The Political Economy of the Mass Media”: “In sum, the mass media of the United States are effective and powerful ideological institutions that carry out a system-supportive propaganda function by reliance on market forces, internalized assumptions, and self-censorship , and without any significant overt coercion”) [24].

However blatant Mainstream public lying is now out of control and there has been an explosion of falsehood on Zionist billionaire-run social media [30-33]. Donald Trump told an astonishing 30,000 lies in his first Administration alone [33]. It is no accident that lying Zionist Trump is bullying the  American universities, the truth-seeking, scientific and  scholarly adornment of American and indeed global culture. For all  that some US lackey Australian politicians actually dared to go so far as to say “Australia is not America” in the Federal Election campaign, Zionist perversion of public institutions has now spread  to Australian universities. Australia’s 39 taxpayer-funded universities have endorsed a highly controversial new definition of antisemitism that was drafted by leaders from the Group of Eight (GoE), Australia’s top  universities, and is expected to be enforced on all campuses. It is likely that the several  private Australian universities will follow suit. This despicable Action threatens the free speech of academics and students that is the core ethos of decent universities [34-39]. For all my adult life I have  protested censorship, especially in universities that have a core culture of truth-seeking and free speech [39].

In Australia the Zionist-perverted Labor Government and Coalition with mendacious Mainstream media support sought to hide the horrific Zionist Israeli-imposed Gaza Genocide by “antisemitism hysteria”,  “terror hysteria”, vilification, prosecutions, threats, and draconian mandatory prison sentences to intimidate those supporting Palestinian human rights [40 ].

I have been rendered almost invisible to Mainstream Australia over the last dozen years through false, Zionist defamation. However I am proud to have variously publicly defended in writing (and necessarily overwhelmingly outside Australia due to egregious Australian censorship) anti-racist Jewish and non-Jewish writers and public figures also defending truth and human rights and  including other Australian humanitarian writers and activists variously subject to side-lining, censorship, intimidation, threats or sacking e.g.  Mary Kostakidis, Essam Al-Ghalib, Scott McIntyre, Yassmin Abdel-Magied, Mike Carlton, Dr Sandra Nasr, Dr Jake Lynch,  Professor Stuart Rees, Professor  Richard Hil, Sir Isaac Isaacs, Professor Peter Singer, pro-Palestinian human rights protesters, Jordy Silverstein,  Donald Myers, Jason Gilham, Stan Grant, Nour Hardar, Michelle Guthrie, Emma Alberici, Professor Eva Cox, Julian Assang, Miriam Margolyes, Professor Dennis Altman, Shaoquett Moselmane, Senator Sam Dastyari,  Alan Seymour, Melissa Parke, Paul Gilby, Allan Jasson, Senator Lidia Thorpe, Senator Fatima Payman, Senator Mehreen Faruqi, Senator Sue Lines, the Jewish Council of Australia, Sarah Schwartz, Dr Max Kaiser, Wilfred Burchett, John Pilger, Louise Adler and Antony Loewenstein. I have also variously defended and espoused  overseas humanitarians, notably Susan Abulhawa, Mohammed Al-Kurd,  Dr Joy Karega, Jeremy Corbyn and indeed a huge body of anti-racist Jews and anti-racist  non-Jews opposed to genocidally racist Zionism [40].      

Thus famed truth-telling Australian journalist Mary Kostakidis has been taken to the Federal Court over her defence of Palestinian human rights. John Mendadue (former eminent public servant and editor of the progressive “Pearls & Irritations”): “Since the complaint against Mary Kostakidis was lodged, there have been two Findings/Orders issued by the ICJ confirming the illegality of the occupation, and ICC arrest warrants issued. Israel and many of its supporters have deemed the ICJ, ICC, UN Secretary-General, UN Rapporteur, Amnesty International, HRW, B’Tselem, and the Pope among others as antisemites. So Mary Kostakidis is in good company… Mary Kostakidis is serving Australia well in bringing to our attention the terrible suffering of Palestinians at the hands of Israel. I wish there were many more journalists like her” [41].

In 2024 I published a huge book entitled “Free Palestine. End Apartheid Israel, Human Rights Denial, Gaza Massacre, Child Killing, Occupation and Palestinian Genocide” [42]. But for the word “Apartheid” in “End Apartheid Israel” this exhaustively documented pro-human rights book could have been banned in Australia and Europe and the author (me) persecuted and  imprisoned.

After an arson attack on a non-Zionist synagogue, arson attacks on cars, anti-Israel graffiti, some intemperate language, and discovery of a caravan full of explosives together with a list of Jewish locations, driven by Zionist and media hysteria the Federal Labor Government and the New South Wales State Government cried “antisemitism” and “terrorism” (albeit in the absence of concrete evidence  about the perpetrators or their intentions) [40] and rushed through draconian legislation on “hate speech” and “terrorism”. However it subsequently transpired that the caravan and some other incidents were not due to “antisemitism” or “terrorism” but were “con jobs” or “hoaxes” by criminals seeking advantages from the authorities. However this legislation falsely based on Zionist-fuelled hysteria has not been repealed [43]. The Federal laws impose mandatory minimum sentences of 1 year for “hate” and “hate” symbols and 1-6 years for “terrorism” offences [44].

For 3 decades I have been researching, writing and publishing, principally  on “violent deaths and  deaths from imposed deprivation” due to war, hegemony, occupation and poverty. I have published about 1,000 typically huge and exhaustively referenced articles and 10 huge books variously referring to these vitally important matters. My endless humanitarian mantra is “Peace is the only way but silence kills and silence is complicity. However over the last 15 years I have been rendered largely invisible to Mainstream Australia  and one evident cause  has been false Zionist defamation [45]. Recently I discovered that a Jewish New York medium, The Algemeiner, had published an article about a top Australian academic having her huge research grant suspended because of her pro-Palestinian human rights stance [46]. However the on-line article was illustrated by a colour photograph  of un-named pro-Palestinian human rights protesters in Melbourne, and prominent in the middle was me – a pro-peace, anti-racist Jewish Australian scholar –  holding a highly–visible placard saying “WORLD: STOP PALESTINIAN GENOCIDE”. The caption falsely stated : “Supporters of Hamas gather for a rally in Melbourne, Australia” [46] . “Hamas supporters” in Australia face a 1-6 year mandatory minimum imprisonment. I am not a “Supporter of Hamas”. My repeated protests to The Algemeiner have been ignored.

The Zionist Israelis – not content with the Gaza Genocide (680,000 deaths from violence and deprivation ), the century-long Palestine Genocide (2.7 million deaths from violence, 0.2 million, and deprivation, 2.5 million), the ethnic cleansing of 90% of Palestine, and the total  destruction of  the huge, ancient and culturally super-important city of Gaza (“Urbicide” [47]) –  have excluded all Occupied Palestinians from all the human rights set out in the 30 Articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights [48]. The reparations bill can be estimated at $7.2 trillion but this will not be paid by the genocidal Zionist Americans and Zionist Israelis [49]. Now the fanatical and genocidal Zionist Israelis  seek to also constrain the human rights of  Westerners, Americans, British, Germans French, and Australians in collaboration with mendacious, Zionist-perverted Mainstream media and politicians.
