The key ethos of Humanity is Kindness and Truth but in the context of the horrific ongoing Gaza Genocide by Apartheid Israel these 2 core moral imperatives are grossly violated by the Australian Labor Government, the Coalition Opposition and indeed all but the decent Greens and 4 other Federal MPs. Orwellian, mendacious, traitorous and US lackey Labor is complicit in the Gaza Genocide and has utterly betrayed Australians for AUKUS-backed Apartheid Israel.
As of 13 May 2024 (Day 220 since the Palestinian Breakout from the Gaza Concentration Camp on 7 October 2023, and considering some 8,000 buried under the rubble), Palestinians killed by genocidal Jewish Israelis in Gaza totalled 43,640 including 39,675 civilians, 15,971 children, and 10,382 women, with 81,560 injured [1]. In the face of this horrific and ongoing atrocity, as of mid-May 2024, after over 7 months of mass murder of Indigenous Palestinians in Gaza by genocidally racist and Nazi-style Jewish Israelis, the only Australian MPs to have voted in Federal Parliament for an immediate and permanent Ceasefire are 15 Greens, ex-Green Senator Lidia Thorpe, and Independents Dr Helen Haines and Andrew Wilkie – a mere 18 out of a total of 227 Federal MPs (76 Senators and 151 Members of the House of Representatives) [2, 3].
The Australian Labor Government is deeply complicit in the ongoing Gaza Genocide and has thus made Australia and Australians complicit in this utterly appalling, Nazi-style atrocity in 20 ways [4]. When I was about 10 I was very annoyed as a patriotic Australian child when a major family mentor, a scholarly Jewish refugee from Nazi Europe, asserted that this obscenity could happen in Australia too i.e. that Australians could embrace something akin to Nazism and its attendant atrocities. However about 10 years later in the 1960s as a university science student I became aware of the injustice to Indigenous Australians by the colonial invaders (at school in Tasmania we were falsely taught that they had been totally destroyed; in fact today there are tens of thousands of “mixed race” Tasmanian Aborigines), and the evil of South African Apartheid was made real to me because my girlfriend (and later wonderful partner for 52 years) was a dark-skinned Bengali- and Bihari-origin Indian (all her grandparents were “5-year slaves” taken to the British and Australian Fiji sugar plantations as “indentured labourers”). I recognized the evil of invading other countries, escaped the birthday-based and lottery-based conscription for the Vietnam War by just a few weeks, and during my PhD drove around in my VW carrying the large black signage “NAZIS KILLED JEWS WE KILL ASIANS”. A social worker friend who had worked among Palestinians in Israel opened my eyes to the awful circumstances of the Indigenous Palestinians. As a post-doc in New York I attended the half million-strong Washington demonstration against the bombing of Cambodia (we stayed at the home of a war crimes judge) but of course we couldn’t travel to the Deep South (we would have been imprisoned under its obscene race laws).
In 1995 I accidentally discovered through the marvellous Satyajit Ray’s film “Distant Thunder” that millions of my wife’s people had perished in the British-imposed WW2 Bengal Famine at the same time as millions of my people were being murdered by the Nazis in Europe. However massive British and Australian Mainstream media lying made us utterly unaware of this WW2 Indian Holocaust catastrophe (6-7 million Indians deliberately starved to death for strategic reasons in Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Odisha by the British with food-denying Australian complicity) [5]. Over the last 3 decades I have published 9 huge books (this including 3 massively updated revised editions) variously dealing with past, present and predicted future horrendous avoidable deaths from deprivation imposed by greed, war, settler-colonial occupation and First World hegemony [5-10]. My most recent book, “Free Palestine. End Apartheid Israel, Human Rights Denial, Gaza Massacre, Child Killing, Occupation and Palestinian Genocide” [10] I dedicated thus: “To my dear late wife Zareena née Lateef for enabling me to see with humane eyes”. I was so blessed but unfortunately tens of millions of my fellow Australians in look-the-other-way, Zionist-perverted and US lackey Australia have been utterly deceived by the massive and remorseless mendacity of Mainstream journalist, editor, politician, academic and commentariat presstitutes.
Despite this present horrible Australian environment of politically correct racism (PC racism), censorship, and egregious Mainstream lying by omission and commission, 18 decent MPs (the Greens, ex-Green Senator Lidia Thorpe, Dr Helen Haines and Andrew Wilkie) have demanded an immediate and permanent Ceasefire [2], and the Greens and Lidia Thorpe demand an end to the human rights-violating Occupation). Now Labor Senator Fatima Payman has showed great moral clarity and great moral courage to finally come out alone among her Labor colleagues to protest the Gaza Genocide, the 57-year Occupation and gross denial of Palestinian human rights (Fatima Payman is 29 and is the first Afghan-born and hijab-wearing female Muslim politician in the Federal Australian Parliament) [11].
Out of 227 Federal MPs there is presently a total of only 19 that decent , anti-racist, Jewish, non-Jewish, Indigenous, non-Indigenous, Palestinian, Arab and Muslim Australian voters can vote 1 for in Australia’s excellent, compulsory and preferential voting system. For a valid vote in this system you must numerically indicate your order of preference for all candidates. If a candidate fails to get 50% of the vote second preferences are considered. I and my activist friends find it impossible to vote for Gaza Genocide-complicit Labor (presently in Government) or the even worse extreme right-wing Coalition (presently in Opposition). But who to put last and who second last? Because Labor is actually in government and has unforgivably made Australia complicit in the Gaza Genocide many will vote 1 Green (or for like-minded decent folk opposed to the mass murder of children, mothers and women), put Labor last and put the Coalition second last [12]. Others will put the anti-science, pro-war and repellent Coalition last.
A few years ago I was the only gora (European) at an otherwise large and all-Indian dinner party and hugely enlivened proceedings by asserting “There is bestiality, paedophilia and incest, and then there’s voting for the Coalition”. Today one could say “There is bestiality, paedophilia and incest, and then there’s voting for Labor (except for Labor Senator Payman)”. Indeed this is a sustainable position: the Coalition has been involved in all post-1950 US wars (atrocities associated with 40 million Asian deaths from violence and war-imposed deprivation) with US lackey Labor supporting all these atrocities except for the Vietnam War and the Iraq War [8]. The Labor Government is complicit in the Gaza Genocide in 20 ways [4] and the Coalition Opposition is even worse in its fervent support for child-killing Jewish Israelis. However while distressed animals can be humanely put down and human victims traumatized by paedophilia and incest can be given the very best psychiatric help, the 16,000 Palestinian children killed so far in Gaza are gone for ever. Indeed with a pre-7 October per capita GDP of $1,000 in Gaza, and half the population of 2.3 million being children one cannot envisage how even minimal psychiatric help can be provided for the over 1 million bombed, starved, bereaved and severely traumatized surviving children of Gaza.
(1). Orwellian deceit by the Gaza genocide-complicit and fervently pro-Apartheid Israel Australian Labor Government, Coalition Opposition and other like-minded MPs.
The Greens, several Independents (ex-Green Lidia Thorpe, and the Independent Helen Haines and Andrew Wilkie), solitary Labor Senator Fatima Payman, socialists, the National Union of Students (NUS), the National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU, Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims, anti-racist Jews, progressives in general, and various trade unions, teachers and health workers have unequivocally condemned the ongoing Gaza Genocide.
In stark contrast, arrayed against these decent Australians are the Labor Government, the Coalition Opposition, the conservative but pro-climate action Teals, the far Right One Nation Party and the disgustingly mendacious Mainstream media in general, with the Murdoch media empire being the very worst for anti-Arab anti-Semitic and fervently pro-Apartheid Israel propaganda. Indeed the pro-Zionist deceit and falsehood is so blatant as to merit the description Orwellian after Big Brother in George Orwell’s “1984”, who declared that “Slavery is Freedom”, “War is Peace”, “Ignorance is Strength” and “2 plus 2 does not equal 4” [13, 14].
While the pro-Apartheid Israel (and hence pro-Apartheid) forces decline to protest the genocide in Gaza, and indeed falsely deny that genocide is occurring (even with Palestinian deaths totalling 44,000), their overwhelmingly major thrusts in support of Apartheid Israel are (a) falsely asserted “antisemitism”, (b) “fear” allegedly suffered by “the Jewish community”, and (c) that the unexceptional assertion by Senator Payman and other decent human beings that “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is somehow genocidal racism.
In response to Senator Payman’s courageous stance, the Coalition moved a Motion in the Senate that brimmed with false pro-Zionist assertions. The Senate Hansard reported: “ Senator Birmingham (South Australia— [Coalition] Leader of the Opposition in the Senate) (12:12): by leave—I move: That the Senate—
(a) notes that the slogan “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” opposes Israel’s right to exist, and is frequently used by those who seek to intimidate Jewish Australians via acts of antisemitism;
(b) welcomes Prime Minister Albanese agreeing with comments from former Defence Department Secretary Dennis Richardson calling the slogan “a very violent statement” which could “easily flow into actions of violence against communities in our own country”;
(c) agrees with Prime Minister Albanese that “it is a slogan that calls for opposition to a two-state solution”, and that “those people chanting, they’re saying that one state should be Palestine”;
(d) concurs with Prime Minister Albanese’s statements in relation to recent university protests that “it’s important that there be respectful debate in this country and what we’re seeing at the moment… what is hatred, what is ignorance, what is divisive…and it doesn’t have a place”; and
(e) calls on all senators to engage in debates and commentary respectfully, and to refrain from inflammatory and divisive comments, both inside and outside the chamber at all times” [15].
The Labor Government backed this Coalition motion and Senator Penny Wong (South Australia—Minister for Foreign Affairs and Leader of the Government in the Senate) spoke thus in supporting the Coalition motion: “We all need to be peacemakers. We gain nothing by reproducing the conflict here, by talking past each other, by shouting each other down and by insisting on respective absolutes. It is not acceptable for anyone in this country to blame others in this country for the actions of others overseas. We stand against discrimination in all its forms. We stand against hate speech and prejudice. I stand against prejudice, discrimination and hate speech, and I always have… I would refer back to what I said when we announced our vote in support of a two-state solution at the UN. I sought to address the Jewish community directly. I said: “Now I want to make some remarks directly to the Australian Jewish community. I understand that the Australian Jewish community are feeling distressed and isolated. I want to say, you are valued members of our community. You have a right to be safe. You have a right to feel safe. Anti-semitism has no place anywhere. I stand against it. We all must stand against it”. Similarly we have seen in this chamber and beyond the distress that so many Australians feel at what we are seeing in Gaza… We have been clear about our position on BDS. We do not support BDS. We’ve been clear about our position on weapons. Australia has not supplied weapons to Israel since this conflict began or in the last five years. But most of all we want to do what we can to break the cycle of violence. We want a two-state solution. The phrase ‘From the river to the sea’ is not consistent with a two-state solution. And it is that solution which is needed for the peace and security of Palestinians and Israelis alike” [15].
The result of the vote: Division: AYES 56 (44 majority) NOES 12 PAIRS 0” [15]. The Noes included all 11 Greens Senators and former Green, Senator Lidia Thorpe. Labor Senator Fatima Payman – whose public use of the phrase”from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” and condemnation of US Alliance-backed Jewish Israeli-imposed genocide in Gaza had led to this motion [11] – was not present.
(2). The racist falsehoods of the Senate Motion (overwhelmingly supported by the Senate with the sole exception of the decent Greens) are readily exposed:
(a). The slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” simply wants equal and full human rights for everyone living in Palestine whether the 51% majority Indigenous Palestinian Subjects of Apartheid Israel or the 47% minority Jewish Israelis. Those denying such human rights for all in Australia would be regarded as neo-Nazi pariahs utterly unfit for decent company, public life and public office in a one-person-one-vote and full human rights for all democracy like Australia. By falsely rejecting this slogan the Liberal Party-National Party Coalition and Labor (aka the Lib-Labs) are disgustingly saying “From the river to the sea, Palestine will never be free”. The English language is beautifully precise: “The cat sat on the mat” means exactly that and certainly not hate-filled Zionist fantasies such as “The genocidal cat is crouched on the mat ready to kill Jewish children”. Of course equal and full human rights for the 51% majority Indigenous Palestinians would, under a democratic regime, most likely mean the end of a genocidally racist, nuclear terrorist, racist Zionist-run, grossly human right-abusing, neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel.
(b). The statements by PM Albanese and former ASIO [Australian Security and Intelligence Organization] boss and US lackey Australia’s former Ambassador to the US, Dennis Richardson, that the “slogan” was “a very violent statement” which could “easily flow into actions of violence against communities in our own country” is utterly false, absurd, malevolent, half-witted and intellectually bereft nonsense. Demanding human rights for Palestinians implies violent and racist insurrection? “The cat sat on the mat” implies violent and racist insurrection? Cats have every right to sit on their mat (just consult world famous anti-racist Jewish Australian philosopher, animal rights advocate, and anti-Zionist Professor Peter Singer of Melbourne and Princeton Universities) [16]. Indeed if Australian pet or livestock animals were treated like Occupied Palestinians are treated by child-killing Jewish Israelis then their owners would be tried and imprisoned under Australian law.
(c). The Lib-Labs falsely argue that the “slogan” supports a “one-state solution” rather than the “two-state solution” dishonestly backed by the pro-Apartheid Israel and hence pro-Apartheid US Alliance. Again, “the cat sat on the mat” means exactly that with no implications about Erwin Schrödinger’s cat, quantum mechanical entanglement or indeed, at the science-divorced Lib-Lab intellectual level, of witchcraft. All sane observers have said for years that the “two-state solution” is dead because the racist Zionists have ethnically cleansed 90% of Palestine. Indeed the genocidally racist and war criminal Israeli Government now declares total opposition to the “two-state solution” advocated by the pro-Zionist West. However a large body of decent and expert observers argue for a secular, democratic, and human rights-observant one-state solution for Palestine akin to that in post-Apartheid South Africa [17]. However that is anathema to the genocidally racist and Nazi-style psychopaths running Apartheid Israel.
Former US Ambassador to the UN and to Apartheid Israel, Tom Pickering, has concluded that the Israeli Government (that opposes a “two-state solution” anyway) would allow no more than 4.4% of Palestine (1,138 km2 of the former Mandatory Palestine) for a Palestinian State for the 5.6 million presently Occupied Palestinians and 7 million Exiled Palestinians: “The Palestinians who clearly suffered a 20 to 1 death rate and who clearly are vastly overwhelmed by the Israelis in terms of military power… I think it is an extremely high mountain to cross… It doesn’t appear there is a 1 state solution to this problem and there is no multiple state outcome to this problem… Israel for a very long period of time under Netanyahu has kind of narrowed down the goal for the Palestinians to something like 20% of what is currently believed to have been the Palestinian state under the 2 state solution [i.e. to 4.4% of former Mandatory Palestine or 1,138 square kilometers for 5.6 million Occupied Palestinians plus 7 million Exiled Palestinians] … And if in fact there is no agreement and the status quo is continued with interruptions for violence as we have seen, it is quite possible that over years – and I am talking about a long time – you will see a removal of Palestinians from the West Bank and quite possibly Gaza to other parts of the world and a no-state solution if I can put it that way. Israel triumphant covering it all” [18-20].
(d). The Senate Motion refers to “university protests” and that “it’s important that there be respectful debate in this country and what we’re seeing at the moment… what is hatred, what is ignorance, what is divisive…and it doesn’t have a place”. The Australian university students protesting the ongoing Gaza Genocide and the mass murder of children in Gaza (16,000 killed so far by neo-Nazi Jewish Israelis) are informed, humane and truthful and tick both boxes of the key Kindness and Truth imperatives of Humanity. The Senate (except for the Greens and Senator Payman) portraying this decent and truthful humanity as “hatred”, “ignorance”, “divisive”, disrespectful and unfit for discourse is a monstrous, Kindness- and Truth-violating Orwellian lie. Indeed it is the 227-19 = 208 Australian Federal MPs complicit in the unforgivable Gaza Genocide who are guilty of egregious hatred, ignorance, divisiveness, disrespect and traitorous racist lying in the interests of inimical foreign powers, specifically the US and US-backed neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel that have appalling records of violating Australia and its Indo-Pacific neighbours [21, 22]. In stark contrast, the anti-genocide university students are the best and brightest of Australia’s future.
(e). The Senate Motion calls on all senators to abjure from disrespectful debate and “to refrain from inflammatory and divisive comments, both inside and outside the chamber”. However the morally degenerate, Australia-, Kindness- and Truth-violating Zionazis that they so fervently support do exactly that by falsely defaming anti-racist Jewish and non-Jewish Australians as “anti-Semites” for merely demanding human rights for Indigenous Palestinians.
(3). The offensive and incorrect words of Labor Senate Leader Penny Wong in support of the Motion must also be systematically countered in the interest of Kindness and Truth:
(a). “We gain nothing by reproducing the conflict here”: This is absurd over-the-top falsehood implying that decent, educated Australians peacefully demanding Palestinian human rights are somehow “reproducing the conflict here”. Further the “conflict” is actually an appalling Gaza Massacre and a Gaza Genocide. The Palestinians in the Gaza Concentration Camp have small arms plus home-made rockets that have killed 50 Israelis in the last quarter century. The Occupier Apartheid Israel has a huge and high technology navy, airforce, and army [23] , together with world-leading population confinement, population control, security, intelligence and surveillance systems [24-27] as well as 90 nuclear weapons [28] and 6 submarines to carry nuclear-armed missiles and supplied by neo-Nazi Germany [29, 30]. It is likely that most of the 1,200 Israelis killed on 7 October 2023 were killed by overwhelming high explosive IDF firepower(this providing the Zionazis with a 9/11-style “excuse” for the horrific subsequent Gaza Genocide) [31]. However if we generously assume that only 50% of the Israelis killed on 7 October were killed by the IDF then as of Day 220 [1] the Occupied/Occupier Reprisals Death Ratio was 43,640/600 = 73 or 7.3 times greater than the Death Reprisals Death Ratio of 10 ordered by Nazi mass murderer Hitler and carried out in the Ardeatine Cave Massacre in Rome in 1944 (335 Italian men and boys executed in reprisals for 30 German soldiers killed in a Partisan ambush) [32].
(b). “I stand against prejudice, discrimination and hate speech”: Given Labor’s fervent, 76-year and utterly reprehensible support for genocidally racist and neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel, these hateful words are presumably falsely aimed at decent anti-racist Jewish and non-Jewish Australians simply peacefully demanding equal and full human rights for Indigenous Palestinians.
(c). “The Australian Jewish community [has] a right to be safe”: Western Zionists have successfully mounted a campaign about baseless “Jewish fear” in pro-Zionist Western countries like Australia, and thereby hiding and minimizing the horrific extent of the Jewish Israeli-imposed Gaza Genocide (as of Day 220, Palestinians killed in the Gaza Concentration Camp have totalled 43,640 including 39,675 civilians, 15,971 children, and 10,382 women, with 81,560 injured and over 2 million substantially deprived of water, food, sanitation, medicine and medical care) [1]. In stark contrast, the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ) reported (2024):“There was a total of 2,142 anti-Jewish incidents reported for the seven years from 1 October 2014 to 30 September 2021; averaging 306 incidents annually. The annual number of anti-Jewish incidents ranged from 190 incidents in 2015 to 447 incidents in 2021. Anti-Jewish incidents, documented in the 2021 ECAJ report, as a percentage of the total number of incidents, in descending order, comprised: verbal abuse (33%); graffiti (24%); email, postal, phone (23%); placards, posters, stickers (16%); physical assault (2%) [i.e. 6 instances of violence annually, none lethal]; and vandalism (2%)… There were 316 reported antisemitic incidents in October 2023, only 5 of which were reported between October 1 and 7. A further 346 incidents were reported in November 2023, making a total of 662 antisemitic incidents reported during October and November 2023. By comparison, there were 495 anti-Jewish incidents reported in Australia for the entire 12 months to 30 September 2023.When comparing the number of reported antisemitic incidents in October and November 2023 to the number for the months of October and November in 2022, the percentage increase is 738%” [33].
Further, Wong is wrong about what she calls “the Australian Jewish community” with the glib contextual implication that this is pro-Israel. A recent poll found that 25% of American Jews agree that Israel is an Apartheid state and that 38% of US Jews under 40 agree with proposition [34]. Contrary to Wong’s rotten assumption about Australian Jews I would like to believe that 50% of Australian Jews are opposed to the Gaza Genocide. Indeed the anti-racist Jewish Council of Australia praised Senator Payman thus: “The Jewish Council of Australia sends Fatima Payman a big mazel tov [congratulations, good luck] for her courage in breaking with the party line and strongly speaking out against Israel’s genocide. It should not be controversial to use this terminology as it is in line with the finding of the International Court of Justice that Israel’s action’s constitute a plausible genocide” [11].
My experience as an anti-racist Jewish Australian is utterly contrary to the Lib-Lab and Zionist “Jewish safety” and “Jewish fear” propaganda line. I have attended most of the Sunday Rallies for Palestinian human rights held every week in the Melbourne CBD since the commencement of the Gaza Massacre and Gaza Genocide on 7 October 2023 (every Sunday, 12 noon, Victorian State Library). These Sunday Rallies (5,000-40,000 participants) were perfectly peaceful, there was warm applause for anti-Zionist Jews, there were often anti-racist Jewish speakers, and I felt very comfortable as I presume did other anti-racist Jews present.
(d). “Antisemitism” in Australia: By “antisemitism” the pro-Zionist Lib-Labs and the genocidally racist Zionists exclusively and falsely mean anti-Jewish anti-Semitism that while repugnant is overwhelmingly non-violent in Australia (merely 6 violent instances annually on average or 2% of annual antisemitic instances prior to 7 October) [33]. The Coalition, Labor, the Australian Labor Government, Australia, various Labor state governments, and several soiled universities support the anti-Jewish anti-Semitic, anti-Arab anti-Semitic and holocaust-denying International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) of which Australia a member country. All-European and with mostly US Alliance members, the egregiously racist and dishonest International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) is anti-Jewish anti-Semitic (by falsely defaming anti-racist Jews critical of Apartheid Israeli crimes as assertedly “anti-Semitic”), anti-Arab anti-Semitic (by falsely defaming anti-racist Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims critical of Apartheid Israeli crimes as assertedly “anti-Semitic”), and disgustingly holocaust-denying by ignoring all WW2 holocausts other than the WW2 Jewish Holocaust and ignoring some 70 genocide and holocaust atrocities. Over 40 anti-racist Jewish organizations have condemned the IHRA Definition of antisemitism [35, 36].
The Australian Labor Government is racist, militarist, anti-Arab anti-Semitic, anti-Jewish anti-Semitic, holocaust-denying, genocide-complicit, cowardly, ignorant, mendacious, corrupt, traitorous, child-abusing, mother-abusing, women-abusing, anti-Indigenous, nuclear terrorist, climate criminal, ecocidal, speciescidal, Humanity-betraying, and thus utterly rotten to the core. Labor is utterly unfit to rule – in Australia’s preferential voting system decent voters will put Labor last.
The English language is horribly abused by massive Orwellian perversion and egregious Mainstream lying by commission and omission in deeply racist, Zionist-perverted, US lackey and look-the-other-way Australia. Just 1 of these 20 horrible realities is repugnant Australian Labor Government anti-Jewish anti-Semitism. It should be noted that anti-Semitism occurs in 2 equally repugnant forms, anti-Jewish anti-Semitism (against 18 million mainly culturally Semitic Jews) and anti-Arab anti-Semitism (against 300 million ethnically and culturally Semitic Arabs and 2,000 million mainly culturally Semitic Muslims in entrenched Western Islamophobia).
The egregiously racist and mendacious Australian Labor Government and the similarly perverted Zionists it so fervently supports have responded to protests over the Gaza Massacre and Gaza Genocide from decent, anti-racist Jewish and non-Jewish Australians by manifestly false and Orwellian assertions of “anti-Semitism”. The horrible reality is the converse – it is the genocidally racist Zionists so fervently supported by the Australian Labor Government who are actually genocidal anti-Semites [37].
(e ). “BDS” (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions). Peaceful boycotts and sanctions were the major policies adopted with ultimate success by the World against the evil and racist obscenity of South African Apartheid. Just as the UK, US, Apartheid Israel, and Australia supported Apartheid in South Africa, so these remorselessly racist countries fervently support Apartheid Israel. BDS is a peaceful and effective way of opposing Israeli Apartheid but is, of course, opposed by the UK, US, Apartheid Israel, and Australia. Those supporting Apartheid Israel and hence the vile crime of Apartheid are utterly unfit for decent human company, public life and public office in one-person-one-vote and equal-human-rights-for-all democracies like Australia. The Coalition and Labor are thus utterly unfit to govern a democratic and non-racist Australia.
(f). “Australia has not supplied weapons to Israel since this conflict began or in the last five years. But most of all we want to do what we can to break the cycle of violence”: Wong is wrong again. According to the Australian Greens: “Just published data from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade shows that in February 2024 alone Australia directly exported over $1.5 million in ‘arms and ammunition’ to Israel. This most recent version of DFAT’s monthly ‘country and commodity pivot tables’ shows that the value of the February 2024 exports was nearly as much as the entire value of direct ‘arms and munitions’ exports to Israel since the Albanese Government came to power, collectively over $3.25 million. The term ‘arms and ammunition’ only refers to guns, bullets, missiles, tanks, swords and other weapons. This definition does not cover the bulk of military goods Australia exports directly to Israel or through third countries, such as engines for drones and military-grade steel for armoured vehicles. These figures also likely do not include weapons exported indirectly, such as F35 fighter parts that likely are channelled through the United States and Europe. At a recent Senate Estimates hearing, the Chief Economist of DFAT acknowledged that the DFAT data showing Australia has exported $10 million worth of ‘arms and ammunition’ to Israel over the past five years is credible. UN agencies and experts have called on countries, including Australia, to stop exporting military equipment to Israel for months. These calls are being ignored by the Albanese Government” [38].
Similarly, Greens Senator and Defence Spokesperson David Shoebridge: “Make no mistake the Albanese Labor Government by permitting these exports to Israel is complicit in the genocide that is occurring. Each of these exports requires the express consent of the Australian government. The fact these arms and ammunition exports occurred in February 2024 is appalling. This was five months into the brutal assault on the people of Gaza when the world had witnessed indiscriminate and disproportionate killing and mass starvation being used as a weapon by the Israeli military. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade says Australia is still exporting military equipment to Israel, as does the UN and Australian arms manufacturers. It is no longer credible for the Albanese Government to deny this reality. It’s remarkable that Australian exporters are being more honest about sending arms and ammunition to Israel in the middle of a genocide than our own Government. It is long past time for the Albanese Labor Government to stop the two-way arms trade with the State of Israel. This is their obligation under international humanitarian law and the express provisions of the Genocide Convention. How many more deaths will it take, and how many more times will the Government try to mislead the public, before action is taken?” [38]. Australian universities have a disgusting record of military co-research with child-killing, neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel [39-43], notably in the state of Victoria ruled by a pro-Apartheid Israel Labor Government [39].
(g). “The phrase ‘From the river to the sea’ is not consistent with a two-state solution”. This phrase simply demands equal and full human rights for all inhabitants of Palestine, whether living in a democratic and secular “one-state solution” (as in post-Apartheid South Africa) or a “ two-state solution” (rejected by Apartheid Israel and dead for years because of Zionazi ethnic cleansing of 90% of Palestine). Presently the utterly evil and genocidally racist Zionazis running Apartheid Israel believe in a “no state solution” with Occupied Palestinians highly abusively confined without human rights and under brutal military rule to the now utterly devastated Gaza Concentration Camp or to dwindling race-based, West Bank Bantustan-like ghettoes – and all because the Zionazis want the land of Palestine (and then some) but not the Indigenous Palestinian inhabitants who must be “warehoused” in impoverished, bare-survival concentration camps. The Zionist-perverted West (including most Australian MPs) dishonestly and disingenuously supports a “ two-state solution” that was dead years ago because of Nazi-style ethnic clearing of Palestine by the Zionazis. The US-dominated West knows that Apartheid is racist, undemocratic and a Nazi-style obscenity that would simply not be tolerated in democratic countries, and hence supports a “ two-state solution” to cover its vile and racist morally degeneracy.
Final comments and conclusions.
The phrase “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is simply a demand that everybody living in the former Mandatory Palestine territory must have equal and full human rights, a proposition obvious and unexceptional to decent human beings but totally and dishonestly rejected by all but 19 out of 227 Australian Federal MPs.
Presently the only MPs that decent Australians can vote 1 for are the 15 Greens, ex-Green Indigenous Senator Lidia Thorpe, the decent Independents Dr Helen Haines and Andrew Wilkie, and Labor Senator Fatima Payman.
The remaining 208 Federal Australian MPs have – for reasons ranging from craven cowardice to genocidal racism – cast their lot with child-killing, pro-Apartheid America and genocidally racist, child-killing and neo-Nazi Apartheid Israel. Those voting for these racist scum become tarred with the same brush and soiled with same racist stench. Australia and the similarly Zionazi-perverted West in general urgently require de-Nazification.
Shakespeare’s guilty Lady Macbeth summarized this sort of moral degeneracy with reference to the Arab World thus: “All the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand” [44]. Gaza that has now been flattened like Dresden, Hamburg, Berlin, Warsaw and Tokyo [30, 45] was one of the world’s oldest cities and indeed was a key Mediterranean port for the export of the Nabatean Arabian perfumes.
As famously stated by anti-racist Jewish American journalist I.F. Stone: “Governments lie”. But as set out here the Australian Government and most Federal MPs also lie for inimical foreign powers, the US and US-backed Apartheid Israel that have variously subverted and perverted Australia i.e. they have descended to the abominable crime of treason.
I have made 5 huge and exhaustively documented Submissions to the Australia’s newly formed National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) about matters of huge importance to Australia [46, 47], specifically huge corruption and fraud in relation to university fees [48], Mainstream media lying [49], non-application of a damage-related Carbon Price [50], Australian war crimes in gross violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention [51], and the Australian Labor Government lying for Apartheid Israel [52]. All of these Submissions about massive corruption, fraud and malfeasance (and variously involving sums ranging from billions of dollars to trillions of dollars) were dismissed by the NACC except apparently for the traitorous Australian Labor Government lying for Apartheid Israel [52].
However the morally degenerate Australian Labor Government is also complicit in the Gaza Genocide in 20 ways [4] and is thus unforgivably complicit in the mass murder of 16,000 Palestinians children to date in the Gaza Massacre and Gaza Genocide. The unforgivable killing and the unforgivable complicity continue.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has now charged serial war criminal, child killer and Zionazi leader Netanyahu as a war criminal. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has demanded that Israel stop genocidal actions. What can decent people do? Decent people must (a) inform everyone they can, and (b) urge and apply comprehensive Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Zionazi-run Apartheid Israel and indeed against all people, politicians, parties, collectives, corporations and countries supporting this genocidally racist, child-killing, and grossly human rights–violating neo-Nazi Apartheid state [53]. Properly informed, decent Australian voters will put Labor last in Australia’s’ preferential voting system.
